Find you a man who would do this just to make you look cool
Okay but can we have this as a comeback look?
[4/??] gifsets of Hobi
why do idols keep saying let’s get it. what are they trying to get
some rest
Hello! I haven’t updated in a while so I wanted to stop by with a list of series that I wanted to rec!
where the fog has lifted from this tapestry of fate - chaoticmusings (( 4 works/? | T | 47,141 total )) Death and Harmony haven’t always been on the best of terms, which is easy to accept without so much as a second thought. They are, after all, two beings that represent conflicting sides.
But perhaps it’s because Death has always assumed Harmony was as meddlesome as Love, while Harmony has always assumed Death was as ruthless as War.
Close Your Eyes (Count To Ten) - jeontime (( 2 works/? | T, E | 29,888 total )) If there’s one thing Taehyung doubts he can ever get used to, it’s waking up to a blade inches from his neck. (historical au)
How To Take Care of a Rose: A journal written by Jeon Jungkook - soecrates (( 2 works/? | T, M | 24,836 total )) Taehyung is that one boy on campus that wears see through crop tops with embroidered flowers and high waisted dad jeans and Jungkook just can’t figure out why the fuck this guy keeps on taking pictures of him.
Churchboy! Tae - captainheyturnitup (( 2 works/? | E | 37,245 total )) Taehyung has spent his entire life at church, praying, volunteering, spending time with his family and friends. He struggles to come to terms with how attracted he is to the hot bad boy in his math class that’s suddenly showing interest in him.
(Of course, he gives in to temptation, falling in love with the tattooed boy he once helped pass math class.)
Ring me up - chahans (( 2 works/? | T | 24,178 total )) Taehyung didn’t like to brag, but there was only a short list of things in the world that he couldn’t do, and they were:
1) Legally ride his rocket powered unicycle on campus 2) Eat three popsicles in a row without getting brainfreeze 3) NOT be whipped for Jeon Jungkook
And now, freshly added to the list: 4) Get Jungkook’s ring off his finger
In which Taehyung gets Jungkook’s ring stuck on his ring finger and Jungkook misunderstands.
what luck - expplipo (( 2/2 works | T | 40,684 total )) "You’re bad luck, I’m good luck. Two sides of a coin. Heads and tails. We match.”
(mundane superpower/luck au)
Lupus Tales - kpopismydrug (( 10 works/? | G, T, M, E | 557,887 Total )) This is one summer break that Taehyung will never forget. From dealing with a moody mare that likes to think she’s a stroppy teenager rather than a horse, to dealing with childhood memories that threaten to choke him, Taehyung will soon find out that when you take a trip down memory lane, some things are more than just memories.
I’m Feeling Electric Tonight - mindheist (( 3/3 works | E, M | 50,282 total )) Dramatization. Do not try at home.
the big picture - expplipo (( 3/3 works | T, G | 47,585 total )) Soulmates and coffee, coffee and soulmates.
but all your flaws and scars are mine au - misanthrpic (( 2 works/? | E | 47,439 total )) taehyung hates the (totally hot) bratty freshman that stole his spot in the art exhibition.
It’s About Time - meanho (( 2/2 works | T, G | 66,507 total )) “Do you think he’s cosplaying an anime, or manhwa?” Jimin asked, voice in a trance.
Taehyung understood his confusion because it wasn’t every day you see a person dressed as fine as the king of Joseon himself stumbling through a crowd and knocking over Sailor Mercury’s wand.
“Hmm, maybe he’s going for someone from Yona of The Dawn?”
Jimin scoffed, “Yeah right, more like my 9th grade history text book.”
(or, the taekook Rooftop Prince AU!!)
Cinnamon Crisp - teatimetaemint (( 2 works/? | M, T | 31,733 total )) Jungkook needs his daily dose of cuddles and Taehyung likes to wear Jungkook’s clothes. They don’t care that alphas and omegas aren’t supposed to be best friends.
admin nj - sorry for not being active! enjoy!
you saved me when i didn't even know i needed saving
I recently wrote this fic about Taehyung being in an abusive relationship and Jungkook saving him, there’s a lot of angst/ hurt comfort. If you’re into that stuff, please check it out! ( remember to read all the tags! )

The New Ult Kpop Ship (apparently) :
So, this is actually going viral on twitter right now - the EXO-L x ARMY ship
Feel free to check out the comment thread which is pretty damn hilarious and mostly Armys and Aeris flirting with each other, lol
For instance :
It’s a pretty happening environment there so I suggest enjoying it while it lasts because I’m hella sure people are going to turn this into something very ugly by the next morning. ^.^
Also, don’t forget to reblog if your blog is kpop friendly and you do not believe in fanwars whatsoever. (don’t hate on this post. it’s pointless.)❤
Update: It has almost been half a year since this was posted and I think I should let my dear friends know that ‘army-l’ is not the ship’s name. Please use a different ship name for the EXO-L x ARMY ship. I’ve seen some use “exormy”. You could go for that or make something better but Army-L should not be used. It will hurt the feelings EXOls because that “L” at the end holds a huge significance to them. It’s dear to us. I hope you understand. Thank you. ♥
BTS Pirate AU (Hyung Line)
I recently watched this scene of Pirates of the Caribbean and it gave me goosebumps all over again.
So this is the new AU that I’ve been working on for the past weeks, I hope you enjoy it!
Warnings: Mentions of rape, murder and torture though none of that happens to the boys and it’s just discreetly mentioned, please be careful (we’re starting off great again…)
——-
The era of piracy in the Caribbean began in the 1500s and phased out in the 1830s after the navies of the nations of Western Europe and North America began combating those who lurked in the deep waters with ill intentions. The period during which pirates were most successful was from the 1660s to 1730s. And while there were many famous buccaneers that embodied a seaman’s fear during that time, none came close to those I will tell you about today.
This is the story, no, the legacy, of the crew who terrorised seafarers all over the world, mankind’s true nightmare. This is the story of the crew who sailed under the black flags of their ship, the so-called “Tainted Purity”.
Kim Namjoon (“Hai Mogui”)
• Kim Namjoon was the fearless captain and strategically unbeatable navigator of the Tainted Purity
• But before his time as a pirate, he was a righteous and kind young man who worked as a navigator in the Japanese Navy
• He was young when he started in the Navy, only sixteen (he wanted to follow his father’s footsteps; Kim Iljoon was the first mate of one of the Navy’s most powerful crews)
• But Namjoon’s expectations were shattered after he found out that the whole Navy was corroded with corruption (he always thought that his father was killed during a fight against pirates, turns out he was murdered by his own people after speaking out against corrupt high-ranking officers)
• After finding that out he was so angry that he abandoned the Navy and stole one of their recently confiscated ships
• The ship was almost completely useless; the sails were torn, there were several leaks on the bow side where the Navy’s cannons hit and the steering wheel was broken
• Namjoon managed to hide the ship in a deserted bay near the port of Hakodate on the northern side of Japan
• The Navy was searching for him since he wasn’t only seen as a renegade and a thief, but he also had a lot of information about the corruption that was going on
• When Namjoon was a child, his father gave him a black compass that didn’t work (or at least he thought it didn’t)
• The compass didn’t oint north, it pointed to whatever you want the most in your life (in Namjoon’s case, freedom…or was it something different?)
• After a while Namjoon figured out how the compass worked (what he didn’t know though was that there were two compasses; one led to what you want most in life and the other one led to the first compass)
• The compass led him to a market in Hakodate where he met Jimin, who helped him hide from a few officers and they became friends
• Jimin helped him repair the ship and that is how Namjoon gained his first crew member (more to Jimin later)
• The ship’s name was originally something along the lines of “Black Pearl” but since it belonged to them now they renamed it “Tainted Purity”
• They made the mistake to try and sail the ship together (which is basically impossible if you’re less than at least three people)
• They didn’t get far so Namjoon decided to keep an eye open in Hakodate for a third crew member (which they soon found in a pub; a weird guy called Jung Hoseok)
• After that they sailed their ship all the way through the Japanese East Sea, past Fukuoka and through the Yellow Sea into the Chinese Sea until they reached Hangzhou Bay (the compasses next destination)
• There they met Min Yoongi and Kim Taehyung (on separate occasions; the two of them didn’t know each other in any way)
• They continued sailing and planned to go all the way to Europe, but Jimin got sick and the compass really wanted them to go to Vietnam, so they had to stop there and search for a doctor
• They found one in Da Nang; a guy called Kim Seokjin (apparently everyone they meet wanted to be part of their crew and so they left Da Nang with a sixth member)
• After crossing Malaysia and Indonesia they reached Sri Lanka where they had to stop in order to stock up on food and other necessities (and the compass was acting up again)
• There they met a young boy in dire need for help, and who would they be to deny him? (That’s how small but brave Jeon Jungkook joined their crew)
• Since then they’ve been sailing towards Europe, terrorising sailors and Navys from all around (they gave back what the world did to them without mercy)
• At first Namjoon was a kindhearted captain, a young man that didn’t want to hurt anybody; but pirate life was different and after experiencing the cruelty of desperate men he vowed to always put his crew first, without regarding anyone else’s well-being or safety
• That’s how he became known and feared; seamen all around Asia called him “Hai Mogui” (“Sea Devil” in Chinese)
• On the steering wheel of their ship he was absolutely unbeatable; he navigated through storms, along cliffs so close Jungkook could touch them as they turned and into deadly currents without much troubles (some of it he learned in the Navy, most of it from experience and sheer talent)
• He was fiercely intelligent and had absolutely no scruples when it came to protecting his crew, which made him even more dangerous
• When the black Jolly Roger of the Tainted Purity was seen caressing the horizon, fishermen and Navy officers alike would cower in fear of what was to come
Kim Seokjin (“Yisheng Sile”)
• Kim Seokjin was the feared doctor and famous alchemist of the Tainted Purity
• He was born on the streets of Persia, no family or anywhere to go to
• When he was five he saved a friend of his, who was chocking on a piece of apple, by pressing down on his stomach
• This took place in the middle of a busy market in Afsana but Seokjin’s movements were so precise, he was so concentrated to save that other boy’s life despite everything that happened around him and that gained the attention of an old man
• That man started to watch him for a few weeks before deciding to take him in as an apprentice
• The man’s name was Abu Ali al-Husain ibn Abd Allah ibn Sina; more commonly known as “Ibn Sina”, the most apt doctor, physicist, alchemist, philosopher and mathematician of his time (Ibn Sina really existed, he was a man whose knowledge was way ahead of his time and he played a huge part in the development of our understanding of the human body and mind and was one of the greatest alchemists of all time)
• Seokjin learned from him for years, greedily taking in all the knowledge (he was Ibn Sina’s best and only apprentice)
• He was like a father to Seokjin so when he died, it hit him hard
• Seokjin left Persia with the intent to help people and spread his medical knowledge so that others could benefit from it as well
• But he was betrayed; men used his knowledge of the human body to create poisons and to torture effectively without killing
• He vowed to never make such mistakes again and so he started travelling the world, looking for people with pure hearts and good intentions, people who “deserved” his help
• He found only few, which made it hard for him to continue believing in human kindness so it didn’t take much to push him over the cliff, that edge that separated him from a completely twisted moral compass
• It was a small girl in Da Nang, Vietnam, that pushed him over the edge, searching for help and leading him to her mother (the woman had been beaten to death only hours before by her husband, the child’s father)
• After that he started to despise people; not wanting to help, rather watching as they fell apart
• Then, still in Da Nang, he met a boy named Kim Namjoon, who begged him to help his dying friend
• Seokjin wanted to say no, he really did, the boy reeked of trouble and crime, but what he said made Seokjin reconsider (“Please, I’m begging you. My friend is dying, he needs your help. I’m not a good human being, I did bad things, hurt people. But Jimin…Jimin is kind and he still loves the world even after all it’s taken from him. Kill me if you have to, but help him.”)
• Moved by Namjoon’s willingness to sacrifice himself for his loved ones, Seokjin helped Jimin, and he stayed with them (He realised that he didn’t need to help anybody, it was solely his decision. So he decided to only help his crew, since those are the people who might need it the most)
• But Seokjin wasn’t only a doctor, he also experimented with alchemy (he made them tiny bombs with gunpowder, calling them “little mateys”; the canons under deck were named “big boys” by Jimin)
• He was extremely valuable for the crew since doctors (especially ones that were as good as Seokjin) barely existed at that time (and pirate life made you need a doctor, believe me)
• Seokjin was also the go-to person if they caught somebody and needed information; his expert knowledge of the human body and mind made his torture methods unbearable)
• That was also the reason why he gained the nickname “Yisheng Sile” which means something along the lines of “Doctor Death” in Chinese
• He used to hate that name since he didn’t want to shame his mentor Ibn Sina, but after a while he realised that nobody really knew who he was; the only person who knew of him being an apprentice under Ibn Sina was the man himself, so he wouldn’t shame his dead mentor’s legacy (at least not with the knowledge of others apart from himself)
Min Yoongi (“Crown Killer Min”)
• Min Yoongi was born near Xi’an, China, to a Korean slave (his mother died at birth, he never knew of his father)
• His mother was something similar to a maid in a British colony near Xi’an and the other women there took care of Yoongi when he was a child
• He was taught how to play the piano by a traveling English man and he did it so well that the leaders of the colony, British noblemen, hired him as their personal musician (the leaders of the colony where similar to Kings, Queens and Princes; it was led by a man, a woman and their two sons)
• So from the age of fourteen he played for and served these men, enduring their cruelty for a few slices of bread and a dry place to sleep
• He became friends with a young girl that worked as a maid in the colony (they where as close as brother and sister and loved each other dearly)
• One night when he met her at the stables she was crying, looking like she’d been through hell and back (turns out that was exactly the case; the two princes had raped and beaten her). Yoongi was filled with rage but he needed a doctor because the girl was so badly injured. But Yoongi didn’t know where to go to, so he asked the Queen of the colony for help (she was a woman too so she’d understand, right?…She didn’t, or maybe she didn’t want to)
• The Queen promptly told the King and he ordered his men to kill Yoongi and the girl, to get rid of the evidence. They hung the girl, claiming she had stolen from the Queen (Yoongi was able to flee thankfully)
•But for Yoongi, it wasn’t over; nobody should be able to do something like that to another human being. So he stole a dagger from one of the guards and sneaked into the king’s quarters at night. There he quietly killed both the Queen and the King (by cutting their throats so they wouldn’t make a noise). Then he went into the princes’ quarters and did the same thing but one of the princes woke up and screamed. Yoongi was still able to kill him, but not without the guards seeing him; he fled by jumping through a window and hiding in the surrounding woods for days before going to Hangzhou Bay (there were people from all over the world, it would’ve been impossible to find him there)
• Min Yoongi killed a King, a Queen and two Princes in a single night without hesitation; that’s how he got the nickname “Crown Killer Min”. The British government was so enraged by this that they promised everyone who brought them Min Yoongi, dead or alive, a bounty of 5000 Yuanbao (which was a fortune at that time)
• After hiding out it Hangzhou Bay for a while he went to a pub where he met a guy called Kim Seokjin; they talked for a while and Yoongi started to like him when suddenly a man recognised him and shouted “Crown Killer Min!” at the top of his lungs. The other people caught on quickly and all hell was let loose; people started fighting over who was going to get the bounty and then a few guys shot some others and it was just pure chaos. Yoongi would’ve never gotten out of there alive if it wasn’t for Seokjin; the older saved him by dropping a “smoke bomb” and brought him to the ship. There Yoongi told the others everything; what they did to his friend, what he did to them in return and how he had nowhere to go to (they let him stay)
• That’s how Yoongi joined their crew; he still had his dagger and a rapier that he stole from one of the officers at the colony. It was hard at first but Yoongi taught himself how to wield the rapier and soon became one of the best and most feared swordsmen around (though he liked the dagger too)
Jung Hoseok (“Eagle Eye Jung”)
• Jung Hoseok was the reliable barrelman of the Tainted Purity (that’s the person who sits in the crow’s nest and looks out for approaching ships, islands and whatnot)
• He had extremely good eyesight, so good that some even said he was enchanted (he could see approaching ships from miles away at night without using anything but his bare eyes)
• His father was a fisherman and when Hoseok was a child he would always sail out with him
• The area that his father fished in was then bought by the corrupt Navy and everyone that sailed out there would be either killed or arrested (and then killed publicly)
• Hoseok’s father still went out there because his family needed to eat (and Hoseok came with him)
• It all went well until one day; a ship of the Navy saw them and didn’t even ask questions, they just shot them down with their huge cannons
• The boat was destroyed instantly and Hoseok’s father died, but Hoseok survived (the Navy just sailed away as if nothing happened while barely thirteen year old Hoseok was trying to climb onto what was once his father’s boat)
• A bunch of pirates found him a few days later, he was almost dead and they saved him, gave him food and water
• The pirates sailed to the next harbour to bring Hoseok home, but the Navy already waited there for them
• The pirates that saved him were killed by the same men that murdered Hoseok’s father
• After that Hoseok just couldn’t go back home; instead he went out into the world, wanting to become a pirate and fight the Navy with all he’d got
• He sailed under many flags but never longer than a few months (until he found himself on the Tainted Purity, there he did stay)
• Due to his unbelievable eyesight he hit all of his targets, which earned him the nickname “Eagle Eye Jung”
• He had two twin silver flintlock guns that he got from the pirates who saved him (they didn’t give them to him, he took them after they were killed)
• The guns were his most prized possesion and anybody that touched them was dead. He called them “Jeong-ui” (justice) and “Bogsu” (revenge)
• But he wasn’t only good with guns; if you gave him a knife or a dagger or even a goddamn shoe he’d still hit the target right on because he was that good
• His father used to take him to town and gamble at the old pub and since he died Hoseok kept up the tradition; some might say he had a gambling problem but he liked to put it that way: “It ain’t a problem if yer don’t lose!” (What he didn’t tell people was that he felt like his dad was there with him whenever he threw the dices or played the cards)
• He was gambling in a pub in Hakodate when a weird guy approached him: “You’re Eagle Eye Jung, right?” “Depends on who wants to know, landlubber.” “My name is Kim Namjoon, I have a ship and I need a bunch of people to help me sail it out.” After that Hoseok apparently lost the game that he was currently playing. “Was nice talking to you, sweet cheeks, but I gotta get outta here before they realise I don’t have any money.” The men, who were sitting right across from Hoseok, didn’t like to hear that. “I’ll kill yer, yer scallywag!” At that Hoseok jumped up and ran, leaving Namjoon to follow him.
• They stopped in an empty alley and Hoseok decided to help him out (he didn’t have anything to lose and Namjoon’s dedication was cute, sue him)
• Since then Hoseok has been part of the Tainted Purity’s crew; he rebuilt the crow’s nest to his liking and established that the only person up there would be him or he’d “personally make all of yer dirty sprogs look at the ship from down under.”
