Any time I post something here or really anywhere online, I know I’m just screaming into a void. Nobody hears me, and if by some miracle they do, why should they care? I’m just another random voice in the endless sea of thoughts and opinions we all sail on. But maybe that’s okay. I’m still leaving a mark, whether people notice it or not. My words are out there in the universe, and even if I’m the only one who ever reads them, they’re still there. They still exist. I still exist.

one thing i love about the transformers fandom is that there are so many iterations of the same characters over and over, sometimes with wildly different characterizations, that anything you do fanon-wise will never feel completely off the mark. I constantly see people coming up with their own fanon continuities or continuity soups that are wildly creative and yet still feel in-line with the core of the franchise, because canon is so varied that really nothing feels impossible.

transformers started as toys to play with and the fandom really captures the spirit of that with the way we play with the characters. we're having fun playing with our toys :)

Every time I get a new figure I try to figure out a backstory for them or a way to fit into the rest of the group. Usually I try to keep it faithful, but sometimes Im just like “fuck it” and turn metalhawk into an amnesiac white knight from the primal age who immediately swears his loyalty to optimus the moment he’s freed from stasis.
