I have played all Zero Escape games, I can't pick a fave. I've been a fan for several years now

My favorite characters are Dio, Carlos, Sigma, and Light

I think that the part I like the most about Zero Escape is the character designs. After all, in a market full of visual novels with candy haired protagonists, and love interests with breasts the size of their head, ZE takes a realistic take on their designs. With most characters having realistic hair colors, and looking like they are their age. (Looking at you Clover, Santa, Snake, and Lotus) It really helps sell the immersion into the horror, like this could take place in the real world.

I also hardcore appreciate this. Like it really seems like just a grouo of people stuck in a shitty situation in each game. Yeah there's a couple that stand out design wise but that's how people are?

Like I love the DR games (just using them as an example), but just about every single character stands out so much and it doesn't seem realistic. Zero Escape does and I appreciate the varying ages and body types as well. There's also no oversexualization (especially of the female characters) compared to other VNs (looking at you again DR).

I was in a local convention this weekend and I got to see UCHIKOSHI HIMSELF… couldn’t get a signature (partly due to the terrible event organization oof) BUT STILL being able to assist to the Q&A was really cool and I could give him this tiny drawing I made so!! overall, a great weekend 🥺
