The way I see it, Zero Time Dilemma is a fun and wacky B movie-esque romp, and people who hate it take the Zero Escape series altogether way too seriously.

My mind has been consumed by a new obscure blorbo (Seamus Doyle from The Séance of Blake Manor) and it was not hard to attribute this to parallels with Chief Blorbo Kyle Klim. I like dark-haired amnesiacs who are highkey depressed and not handling it well.

Doyle is also on a bonkers religious mission with a wacky old man for a mentor, which unfortunately is only true of Kyle in my fanfic but it’s still a fun parallel.

Reason for amnesia: in a shipwreck / Got shipwrecked on an island as a child and couldn't remember anything about her life before the shipwreck.

Do they get their memory back?: Dont think so, but at least partially / Probably not. But she remember some things like her real name and the shipwreck and reunites with her mother at the end of the movie.

“Fun” facts: She has the most killable Barbie animal from all the movies / She has the ability to talk to all animals

Reason for amnesia: Injected with a high dose of an Anaesthetic

Do they get their memory back?: Technically, Yes

“Fun” facts: One of three characters in the Zero Escape series, K is the only one who unambiguously has amnesia. At least, some of the time. They're trapped in a suit that obscures their face, which they grew up in since they were young. Favourite food: Mooncake. There's a CG where they ride on a kiddy-ride shaped like a rabbit and get their picture taken! Hooray!
