Hey everyone! We have some exciting news to share with you all! Our zine artists are currently hard at work creating some awesome pieces for the coloring book. And we wanted to share who is on board! We have a couple of artists left to announce but for now, please cheer them on!
Hi! With the reopening of applications I wanted to ask would it be okay to re-apply if I tried out and didn't get in the first round?
You can totally reapply! Deadline is today though! Sorry we didn't get this notification :(
Hello, I read on twitter that you will reopen the applications. Does that mean that some contributors had to step down? Will pinch hitters from previous application period have priority? Or will the zine just grow in size? What's going on? I understand the change in mods, but why reopening?
Zine is growing in size. Because of the previous production company some artists were uncomfy entering and missed their chance.
We have a major announcement...and a lot of work ahead of us. Please hang with us while we return to the drawing board. And stay tuned for more announcements!

Thank you for replying but that doesn't really answer my question ;; Don't get me wrong, I think this book is a lovely idea and I'm thinking about applying, that's why I'm concerned. But as far as I'm understanding XYZines isn't exactly handling the finances...? Having three first time mods for art related stuff and only one mod with experience for all other tasks gives me a bit of a stomach ache ;; I'm so sorry for bothering but I had some bad zine experiences and would like to prevent more ;;
Our mod team is made up of a diverse group with many talents, and no one is left doing all the work alone. Yes, we have three "art mods," but they are also helping us with organizational activities, social media, communications email etc. Additionally, all have experience selling and producing their own merch. No one has been handling anything alone and this entire process is an amazing collaboration. Please note that Exy has also been a mod before and is in charge of scheduling and communication.
XYZines is handling the finances, as that's part of doing production. Due to the vagueness of the title "finance mod" (and frequent use of it by individuals in other fandoms to obfuscate the nature their involvement), we have opted not to use the term. If you have more questions about the specific process, please let us know.

Hello! I saw the mod announcements on Twitter and I was wondering if you have anyone in your team who has experience with modding zines...? And what exactly everyone's tasks are as you seem to have a lot of "art" mods but no one for finances and stuff. With so much scams happening with zines this is worrying me a bit tbh
Good morning! Thank you for your question. We are very concerned about all the recent zine scams as well. Which is exactly we are working with the production mod, Xyriath of XYZines, who has helped many Sheith zines come to life! We are in very good hands and our goal is important to us. We are excited about this project and we can't wait share it with you all! Thank you again for your concerns it's important to us that we set your mind at ease.
