What happens when you sign up for Tapblr?
After you submit your tumblr, new email, and new password, youâll create a new account with Tapblr and be directed to your new blog page at https://tapblr.com/[your blog page]
Weâll send you an email confirming youâve signed up
Weâll work to transfer your tumblr data, which may take some time depending on number of posts you have
Nope! Since weâve spent so much time setting up a process for transfer, weâre still working on core blogging and website functionality.
Q: Iâve received an error while transferring, what happened?
This could be due to many issues, as weâre still figuring out how to make this work all the time.
Make sure that everything is lowercase and there are no spaces in your tumblr name
If you have hyphens in your tumblr name, try without the hyphens with a new email
If all else fails, let us know at contact (at) tapblr.com and weâll try to figure it out
Q: Can I share my Tapblr link with my followers?
Yes! Feel free to you can rebuild your followerbase and have new users follow your new blog.
Q: When will Tapblr be complete?
We know that some blogging features (likes, reblogs, photos, videos, etc) arenât quite done. Weâre working to include them and hope to have them ready within a week. (Transferring your content works already!)
Tapblr is still very much rough around the edges, but weâre thrilled to have seen the response weâve had. Weâre only accepting backup requests until December 16th due to demand, and hope youâll join us!
