Disney Fine Art: “Carefree and Cruising” by Jeff Granito:)
┠ ☠ ┨ ╾ Eyes watch; taking in the way scales glint in the light of the sun beating down upon the murky surface of the water and reflecting across it’s body. He can see the serpent shifting about as she washes her body clean of grime and dead scales that get swept away with the current. The crocodile stills before he’d gotten too close, but he knew with one good look in his direction would give him away; not that he was trying to purposely hide. The creature knew very well how to get himself out of any situation and do it without so much as a scratch upon tough hide.
╾ So when the croc noticed that he was being watched in return, he gave no visible response that he even notice her. It’s voice, her voice, was what finally had him reacting. A body slowly rises further to the surface; bumpy spine curling up and out of the water as he shows more of his form off. ❝I was unaware I had been sneaking…❞ the creature muses with such a deep rumbling voice that spills from an opened maw once it slips above the water’s surface.

If amusement were to truly be displayed on her features, she’s be filled to the brim with sarcastic expressions. A scaled arch of the ridge above where a brow would be on some other sort of creature, and the light breathy laugh leaving past her lips. Staring at this rather large reptile that was not letting up with his staring. “Yes, well... You were doing a poor job at it, if you were.” Glancing away, water running along her patterned neck, and she couldn’t be bothered to look at something so large. Absolutely uncaring for her own safety, because she knew her strength was something none cared to fight against... Or was it carelessness? “Can you not see that I am quite busy? If there is something you need to say, be a good boy and speak. Otherwise, go on and leave to wherever you were headed...” Quite casual, but the threat may have been in there weaved somewhere along her words, if one were to think harder on it. | @crocodeilos |
Two-Headed Snakes are steeped in ancient symbolism. In most cultures they mean rebirth, good fortune and wisdom. In some cultures they represent death and seeing them in your dream is considered a bad omen (usually associated with betrayal)

Step out of time, trace a path back to what was once there, before humanity was even a dream, and what still is – welcome, friend, and meet the ancient
These images were created in front of an audience. All the colour and smoke you see were actually there
This body of work mixes still images with live demonstration, education and performance art, all unraveling the crocodile’s great mysteries

┠ ☠ ┨ ╾ He had been resting upon the murky depths of the lake. Tail whipping back and forth behind him so very slowly, sending the great reptile to float forward through the waters he called home. The tips of clawed feet just barely drag the lake’s bed with each casual step he’d give to boost himself back up. He was not hunting, nor was he sleeping. Merely passing the time by lazily wandering about the massive lake he’s already explored every part in the past.
╾ It’s only when the water is disturbed; when quiet splashing draws in the creature’s attention and he carefully turns himself around to angle an ear towards the sounds. It was something large, yet the crocodile could not place it as he wriggles his body around to fully face the noise before slowly surfacing 30 feet from where the source was. Once eyes are above the water does the beast see now what caught his interest in the first place. A serpent; large, slender, and boy…what a sight. It had the croc drawing his form up further, baring more of his body and becoming far more visible.

Taking her time with washing herself, smooth scales lathering in the fresh water, and how lovely it felt to have dead scales slip off with such ease. That head of hers allowing itself to dip into the depths of the murky water, before slipping the rest of herself into the coolness. Soaking up the temperature a little, before slithering back out a bit at the edge. That’s when she saw movement, something nearing, and there wouldn’t be enough time to get herself out of the water in time. So, instead of running away up the tree, she only let part of her too-long of a body loop on one branch. Turning her head so that those emerald eyes stared directly at this creature.
“You know it’s rude to sneak up on a girl, while she’s bathing...” Getting a good look at what was visible, and her tongue flicked out, trying to taste the air enough to get a better gauge of it’s size. | @crocodeilos |
Are you alone out here? What are you doing so deep in the jungle? Don’t you know what you are?…I know what you are. I know where you came from. Poor, sweet little cub. I’ll keep you close. Let go of your fear, now… and trussst in me…
