Day 12: Favorite Relationship

Kuu and Kyoko’s “Kuon”.  For sure.

We learn so much from Kuu’s insistence for her to play Kuon, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. He is a father grieving for a son that wants nothing to do with him–at least for the moment.  He is a father desperate for any contact with his son.  He even “tricks”–for lack of a better term–an innocent young actress into playing the character.

But then…it becomes Kyoko he wants to protect, that he holds dear.  She doesn’t outshine Kuon in the least; there is simply more room in his heart for his second son.
