Tahanan by El Manu
“Bakit gusto mong mapag-isa?” “Ewan… basta I don’t feel alone when I’m alone.”
Now I understand why… solitude was never emptiness— it was freedom.
In being alone, I learned to notice— what I see, what I hear, what unfolds quietly around me. I learned by observing, by listening closely to life as it happens.
In being alone, I learned that I am strong, but I need help sometimes; that I am patient, when life moves too fast; that I am brave, even when I get scared— I learned that I am capable.
I came to realize that I am my home, a place where I am safe, protected, and at rest.
I found comfort in knowing that I will never be lost again, because God dwells within me. I am never truly alone.
“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” — Psalms 46:5 NIV — luna ⏾
