The work for this position is on a voluntary basis at the moment; however, this position is entitled to receiving pay once the project is successfully launched.

Requirements for Editing Position: -Must be fluent in English -Must have a solid understanding of proper grammar and punctuation (a degree in English, Creative Writing, and/or Screenwriting is favorable, but not required) -Writing style must maintain a level of professionalism (and I would also add in here that this is of the shoujo genre, so your writing doesn’t have to be formal in a business sense, nor does it need to be constrained by sentence structure - but it would be advisable that slang and other deprecating terminology is not included in your editing unless the character’s diction already manifests this type of speech.

Please be advised that this position requires focus and concentration as your duty includes editing and writing prolifically. Our group envisions that this project will surpass one hundred pages of writing. Of course, you will not be required to edit a batch of that quantity at one time, but you must have the tenacity to follow through when new script material comes your way at any given time.

Please include a portfolio of your original works or highlight an edited piece of another’s writing.

Open Audition!

Truth Intact: Salva Veritate is an original otome/visual novel that will be playable on the mobile iOS. This will be a crowd funded project through Indiegogo and any other donations that will be made through via Paypal. Rutilus Productions is still looking for any interested voice actors/talents. When emailing, please attach a demoreel or a sample of your work, if available.

Hello everyone I hope you’re all enjoying the summer. It’s been awhile, but incase you weren’t aware the group went on a hiatus. We posted this short notice up on the staffs’ twitter.

However we are hear to announce that we are back and rolling. Firstly, we will like to apologize to our followers who were confused or concerned with no update here on Tumblr. The reason why we went on this unexpected hiatus is because of time management, priorities, and everyday life issues. Therefore if you want to be informed quick notices/updates will be posted on 2 different Twitter accounts.

The Tumblr account is for detailed news, updates, and audition/hire notices, but sometimes we don’t have the time to write out a detailed update on multiple social media accounts so we will send out a quick notice/update on Twitter.

Now onto the Truth Intact topic:

What is the group’s game plan after that long hiatus? Because of the hiatus the artist’ style and quality has changed so we decided to revamp everything from concepts, sprites, cg, and more so the art will stay consistent. Please note that this is one artist who is doing all of the art from 3DCGs, BGs, sprites, animation, GUI, soundFX, and ads.

So why not hire another artist to help out? That would be helpful, but hiring different artists will sometimes hinder the quality of the art and it will sometimes be more time consuming. We also can not hire anyone for pay other than volunteer. If the artist does not have the knowledge and skill that we need for the game it would take up more time teaching the artist. It would be super helpful if we could find someone who is passionate about the game as much as we are, but also has the talent. We are aiming toward making this game as high quality as possible where the game will be seen as an industry level product; therefore it is crucial that if an artist wanted to volunteer they must have high quality art or skills.

Because making this game isn’t a full time job it is taking a lot of time where we’re squeezing in every free time we have. We did come up with an idea that we could run a Patreon or a Paypal donation so we can support ourselves and focus on outputting the beta before we launch Indiegogo for community donations.

We have been hesitant on recruiting volunteers, but we decided that we should give it a try. Again, those who want to volunteer must have the skill for the position. A doc will be made sometime by the end of the month so those who want to volunteer can apply.

We will also be hosting an audition to replace some of our lost VAs during the project’s beta. So those who are interested in auditioning it’ll be the perfect time to warm up your voice. Another audition will be held after the community funding where more character roles will be opened so if you don’t get in during your first try there’s always a second chance.

In the meantime enjoy the summer sun.
