TRU Youth exists solely because of Jesus Christ. We are a ministry that primarily consists of middle and high school aged youth. We are of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the historical Third Ward of Houston, Texas, under the direction of Dr. D.Z. Cofield. Our primary mission is to effectively reach youth with the love of Christ, making disciples of them, baptizing them, and teaching them in the way of the Lord. We pray and hope to see teenagers being disciples of Christ and reaching their surroundings with the gospel of Christ. We hope to accomplish such through the preached word, small groups, media, music, and fellowship. TRU: TEENS RADICAL & UNASHAMED.
