Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, friends!
2025 is coming to a close.
Looking back, how was this year for you?
Reading this, each of you has likely spent the year in different places, doing different jobs, and going through different experiences. There must have been moments of joy and sadness, surprises and disappointments, misfortunes, and strokes of luck.
But as the year fades like the setting sun, we all probably think: "I made it through."
We all fight our "own silent battles." No matter who we are, how high our status, or how wealthy we may be, everyone carries their own worries, anguish, and pain. And somehow, we have all endured these individual lives throughout 2025.
Now, shall we take a breath while watching the year set like a red sunset? It has been a hectic and chaotic time, but why not spend a brief moment at the end of the year with your precious ones? Whether it’s family or friends—the people you absolutely want to protect.
Everyone has someone precious to them, right?
Just like the opening scene of "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King." Just like the Nutcracker that Marie received as a Christmas gift from Drosselmeyer on December 24th.
Though he wore the uniform of a soldier, he was a "Chivalric Guardian" who fought to protect Marie every night. His spirit was that of a true knight.
Perhaps the ultimate reason you fought so hard through the fierce days of 2025 was for those precious friends or family members who are with you this Christmas and year end Eve.
So, how about spending the end of the year with this Chivalric Guardian, the Nutcracker?
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all my friends!
May you be with your beloved ones!

There is a football club.
This club once enjoyed a glorious past, but in recent years, trophies and championships have felt like distant dreams.
Time and again, they stumbled at the final hurdle. Sometimes, their performances left much to be desired, and they fell short of expectations.
Over time, people stopped hoping too much from this team. Even among fans, disappointment became common.
And then, a new season began. In the league, the team continued to show signs of struggle.
But their journey in the cup competition was different.
Surprisingly, they began to defeat strong opponents one by one, advancing through the tournament.
And in the final match, they achieved something truly unbelievable: they became the champions of Europe.
Which team, you ask? It’s none other than Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League.
As a devoted fan of Tottenham Hotspur, I was overwhelmed with joy by their incredible and unexpected victory. Despite their struggles in the league, the whole team came together, unified by purpose, and achieved something truly special. I was deeply moved.
To celebrate this historic victory and to honor their team spirit, I created this model.
Team Spirit – Football vs. Yacht Racing
Some might find it puzzling—why commemorate a football team’s victory with a sailing yacht?
Indeed, at first glance, football and yacht racing seem completely unrelated. But I believe they share something profound.
Through this model, I wanted to depict the journey of Tottenham Hotspur—how they overcame adversity through sacrifice, cooperation, and an unrelenting desire to win.
So, in what ways are football and yacht racing similar? Let’s start with football.
A single talented player can never win a match alone. Even the best striker is useless if isolated up front without support from the midfield or defense. A brilliant defender is vulnerable without coordination with the fullbacks or the goalkeeper.
Just like in yacht racing, the crew must swiftly adjust the sails and rigging in response to ever-changing winds and currents.
Sometimes, to keep the boat from capsizing in strong winds, crew members must sit lined up along the windward side to balance the boat. This is called “hiking,” and in this model, the crew is hiking on the port side. These complex maneuvers are impossible without perfect teamwork.
Even if a soccer team has a player with powerful long kicks, they’re ineffective without set-piece tactics. And if the team can’t adapt to the opponent’s ever-changing strategy, even the best plans fail. Behind the scenes, it’s the coaching staff and analysts—those who study tactics and plan training sessions—who make it possible for players to shine on the field.
In yacht racing, this is much like the role of the captain and navigator. Though not as glamorous, they are responsible for reading charts, monitoring weather and wind, checking the boat’s position, and determining the best course. These are tasks that require great skill and relentless effort.
When the captain and crew embrace true team spirit, they overcome strong winds, crashing waves, and every challenge in their path until they finally reach the finish line and claim the shining trophy beneath the foredeck.
Just like Tottenham Hotspur’s victory.
Their triumph is even more remarkable considering the challenges they faced—injuries to key players, difficulties in the league—yet they defeated some of Europe’s strongest teams with unbreakable will and unity.
I hope that same spirit continues to guide Tottenham Hotspur on their journey ahead.
To dare to win!
