Introverted and sensitive? 💓 Here’s a tip for the introverts, and a cool POV for the extroverts... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ——— 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝟏𝟎𝟏: 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝟏 ——— As teens, introverts are intimidated by social grace and feel that they cannot contribute to group settings without judgement. Enter adulthood, and we are more accustomed to interaction however sometimes are behind in terms of our social experience, especially with confrontation. 🥺 Consequently, I found that throughout my earlier uni years, I would process quality feedback from peers, uni and work alike, as oppressive criticism. 🤔 I eventually realised upon looking back, that because of my social inexperience I took things too “sensitively” without realising others were only voicing their thoughts with beautiful intent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thus enters Tip #1: Learn to not take constructive feedback negatively, but as honest advice to grow from. Feedback given to you with the intent of supporting your growth is not an attack. At the end of the day, a support crew that provides honest feedback is more helpful for your growth than one that would rather watch you make mistakes. 🙏🏼 (at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAB9ll9Bsr6/?igshid=9b0kvuvd9jz3
