No one’s reading it anyway and I’m not happy with myself or my writing at the moment, so I want it gone lol. Just a quick post to say I’m sorry that there haven’t been any new fics for Spooky Month. I’ve been a bit unmotivated to be completely honest. I feel like no one really wants to read the fics I wanna write the most. I do have some fics planned still (and I’ve already started writing them), but I honestly don’t know if I’ll post them during Spooky Month. I started out strong and maybe that was my mistake lol 

I really wanted to do this, post a fic every two days, but it’s clearly too much for me. And I don’t feel like putting effort into something that no one will enjoy. Anyway, hopefully at some point there should be a halloween themed yoonkook texting fic, so that’s something to look forward to I guess

With a yawn, he stretched his arms above his head and slowly got up, sleepiness making his limbs feel heavy. For the fraction of a second he was convinced it’d been one of his parents, or his brother even, but then he remembered that they were on vacation and that he was all alone in the house.

There was no one here apart from him. No one who could’ve made that sound apart from Yoongi. Except it’d come from downstairs. Even in his sleepy state, he’d been aware enough to know it hadn’t just been him stepping on a creaky part of his floor.

“Hi,” Jungkook breathes, sticking out his hand, a gesture that is mostly used by humans nowadays.

Yoongi reluctantly reaches out to take Jungkook’s hand. He almost jolts when their palms slide together. Jungkook’s hand is warm, definitely warmer than other people Yoongi has shaken hands with, and his skin pleasantly tingles where it touches Jungkook’s.

Jungkook’s wide eyes are trained on Yoongi’s face and he’s distantly aware that they’re practically holding hands and not shaking them, but he feels sort of frozen. Jungkook, for his part, doesn’t even seem to notice. He holds Yoongi’s hand a bit tighter, not enough to hurt, but to ground him, to give some weird form of comfort.

or: Yoongi doesn't like werewolves. That is, until he meets Jungkook.

I’m just gonna stop saying that I usually read more than this bc obviously this is the new norm. anyway, have fun reading these fics!

Call and Answer by @disarmingly 18.4k | AU | yoongi can’t sleep so he calls Save Me Inc. and ends up talking to jungkook, who not only makes yoongi fall asleep but also fall in love. this is slightly angst-y (at least for someone like me who usually avoids angst like nothing else), but it’s so worth it. 

magic show by @montnarpasse​ T | 5.6k | AU | Yoongi ends up at a pet shop to buy a fish, but leaves hastily without a fish because he meets jungkook and magic - a cat. like all of fruitily’s fics, it is amazingly written.

mr. & mr. min by notyoongs E | 9.2k | AU | mr & mrs smith yoonkook au. it is as good as you’re imagining it to be. go read this. seriously though, I was not disappointed. 

you took my hand out from the rain by jonghyunslisterine M | 8.1k | AU | Historical fic with king Yoongi and general Jungkook. I’m usually not a huge fan of historical fics but I gave this one a try and I was very glad I did!!

Spooky Month

This is just a quick overview (mostly for myself tbh). I have planned 16 fanfics for spooky month/16 days on which I want to post something.

Of those 16 days, 3 are already finished. Of the remaining 13, I have started writing 6. But then I also have no ideas yet for 5 of the remaining days :/ 

Anyway, I can’t wait to start posting fics for Spooky Month, but first, I have to finish them all lol

Take Cover! by @hopokie T | 8k | AU | Seokjin and Yoongi plan to watch TV but instead get suprised by a spider. All hell breaks loose. This is not only hilariously funny but also really sweet, especially the parts with Yoongi and Jungkook. 

doggy style by ameliabedelias T | 10.5k | AU | Really cute and funny fic with Jungkook walking dogs to earn money so he ends up walking AgustD’s dog Holly. Such a wonderful fic, would 11/10 read again.

C:\PAIRINGS\YoonJin\Date_A.exe by RNA M | 8.5k | AU | IT guy Seokjin meets accountant Yoongi and catches his eye when he works his “magic”. Funnily written, made me wish that was my life, it was that good.

Jinkook

softer features by @arysthaeniru E | 9.9k | AU | Married couple Jinkook go on vacation on their one year anniversary. I love love love Jinkook and this was just sooo good!! Funny and sweet and steamy (^^) and so well written and in character.

Namgi

read my mind by @jeonyoons M | 2.2k | Canon Compliant | Namjoon and Yoongi have figured out a way to help with the stress of working. I’m shit at describing, but please read this, it’s really sweet but also funny and the smut is well written. 11/10.

Astronomy in Reverse by @taegifucker T | 5.4 | AU | Sweet and cute fic with Taehyung the nerd and Yoongi the badboy (he’s really soft though) cuddling and generally being so sweet that I was smiling the entire time while reading it.
