Schedule Update

I don’t have the energy to do a personal update right now but several people has messaged me concerned that they won’t be able to make the deadline. Because of this, I am going to be extending the deadline to December 19th, Midnight Pacific Time. Thank you all, and I apologize for my absence an the mess this has become.

Hi! I had a bit of a question, it appears that I may have a problem. Do we submit our works (Once we reach the deadline of course) on your blog on the 'send in' thing? I'm still a bit new to Tumblr so I don't quite have the formatting down.

A (slightly personal) Update

Hello all! Yes, I know I’ve been MIA and missing my own deadlines, and deeply apologize for that. I’ve recently been officially diagnosed with depression and generalized anxiety (among some other stuff), so I’ve had a lot on my plate lately. BUT I refuse to give up on this project. I’m slowly working on sending those check in smile (a few of you have already gotten them, but if you haven’t it’s coiming soon!). I’m also working on the participants page and a FAQ page, so keep an eye out for that!

Agan, i’m really sorry for being inconsistent and all with this project, I feel awful. But t’s still going strong. Thank you to everyone who’s ecing to stck with me throghall ths.

Check In Schedule

Oh man! This project has definitely blown up much more than I had anticipated. As of right now, we currently have 67 secret Santas among us! Idk about ya’ll but that’s a pretty big number!

Okay, now let’s get down to business: The check-in schedule. Because this project was so delayed, the dates have changed. The new schedule is as follows:

November 20th: First check in

December 10th: Second check in

December 19th at midnight Pacific time: Deadline for any and all submissions

December 20th-27th: Submissions will be posted

But wait, how will the check-ins work??

You will receive an email from myself asking if you’re still participating and for a preview of your work (don’t panic, I just want to make sure you’re making progress!). If you don’t respond to this email within a week, I will message your tumblr. If I don’t get a response within 3 days after that, I will be forced to remove you from the event and find a replacement. Please refer to the participants page for your status.

I am so sorry for the delays! I’ve been slowly getting emails out in groups, but the rest of them are getting sent out today! If you do not get an email by November 5th, midnight pacific time, please contact me!

why weren't you able to access this blog?

Some weird glitch was making it to where my email just didn’t exist? But I contacted support and they fixed it so it should all be good now.

This is probably dumb, but how do we submit our entries to you after we write/draw them?

Not dumb at all, no worries! Email is preferred, but whichever way you submitted your application is fine as well!

Due to me losing access to this blog for a while and missing some questions, you will be receiving your emails by October 23rd. I know there’s been a huge delay in this project, and I am so, so sorry about that! I promise things will be running more smoothly from now on!
