going insane about stevebucky again. nightmares and shivering and choking and bucky snapping awake to realize steve's having an asthma attack again and his hands are already moving before his mind catches up that it can't be asthma, not now. and steve wakes up clutching, grabbing, holding, and saying "don't go don't go" and bucky's promising not to, not again, not anymore, while cupping steve's face in the dark, blankets twisted and strewn everywhere, sheets still sweaty. something about under the cover of dark away from everyone else, and arms that have held you your whole life so why not now?
