The year is 201X and in yet another small town in the rural USA, a large corporation has installed a brand new mall. In âWednesday S. Mallâ, everything was now at arms reach, from childrenâs entertainment to luxury handbags. The mall is so large in fact, most of it was akin to shopping streets, with large open-air walkways. Among the entertainment, of course, how can one forget the Fazzbear entertainment locations? A large arcade and that great âFreddy Fazzbearâsâ family restaurant right next to it, both the shining jewels of the Mall.Â
It had been difficult for the Mall to establish itself. The construction work was plagued with accidents and unexplained events. It had been built in a region known for its supposed supernatural beings. Working off of local folklore, some shops even offered supposed supernatural and magical items or even horror-themed paraphernalia. At night, however. The welcoming shop windows and restaurants close, are covered with metallic gates. Guards and a security system make sure nobody gets in, or out. The animatronics, be they mascots or Fazzbear entertainment animators, have a nasty tendency to get jittery, and even walk around.Â
