Hello~! Thank you so much for doing the twitter translations!! Oh, but about the "Shun and Historical Dramas", I think it's not a pillbox but actually a stamp/seal or something containing the MC's family crest. I think the plot of the drama is that MC is actually a noble that went into hiding which is why You says that showing it in the beginning would ruin the drama since it'd ruin the whole point of MC going undercover. Either way, thanks again for the translations! I can't wait to read more<3
hi~! thank you for the correction i completely forgot to mention the family crest thing ^.^; but i researched a bit & asked my dad (who’s a japanese) about mito koumon and i am sure that what shun had said about the thing you show blah was ‘inro’ (印籠) and its english translation is ‘pillbox’, not ‘stamp’. ‘inro’ is an antique pillbox which is/was usually used by samurai warriors and travelers centuries ago and in mito koumon, mc’s family’s crest was attached on the pillbox.
