first thing you see is this dude’s weird ass neck strap–goes around his neck, buckles mid chest and? goes into his pants? conclusion: dude’s holding up his jock strap with a neck strap. hate it. thanks. keep on going, it gets worse. what the fuck are the arm warmers for? who does that help? no one? im thinking no one. but they’re cow patterned for maximum fashion. if that’s not bad enough, let’s keep fucking going!

look at this face bandage. look at it. do you see how it goes up, under his headband? doesn’t make sense. if it’s being held up there, which would make sense physics wise, there is NOTHING holding it to his head with enough tension to keep it there. his headband isn’t tied. he just laid the fabric in a loose ass side knot, so that’s not holding it up. its not wrapped across the top of his head. can’t see it on the other side and his hair isnt pushed down by the tension of the bandage. conclusion? hes either duct taped it to his face OR, my personal favorite postulation, dude has a fucking wig that his bandage is stuck under. dude’s rocking a wig. dude’s rocking his neck-held jock strap. dude’s rocking his cow arm warmers.

not only are these pinstripe parachute pants, theyre TUCKED IN to??? these look like legwarmers, but look. look closer. there isn’t a seam, there’s no fabric hanging over toward the toes, the same amount of fabric to sandal-material ratio going on. plus, if you look in the back, you can see where the sole goes up over the fabric, holding the soles in place. CONCLUSION. these are boots. these are GODDAMN OPEN TOED SANDAL BOOTS with MATCHING cow pattern to his ARM WARMERS

tenten trait i love that is often overlooked: her selfishness!!

when tenten believed she had the opportunity to save everyone, she chose to give up her goal because she enjoyed the praise she received in the tsukuyomi world. AND SHE KNOWS SHE'S WRONG FOR IT!!!!!

Ok I have to admit I haven't fully thought this one out but just walk with me for a sec. Is it possible Itachi didn't necessarily plan to survive the Uchiha massacre?

Now I know he needed to stick around to ensure Danzo kept his word about leaving Sasuke alone, and he also needed to figure out Tobi's whole deal. But still, he could have hypothetically left that to Hiruzen. I mean its a really good thing he didn't. That would have been a terrible idea. But then again, this is Itachi we're talking about, so. Yknow. Par for the course.

And of course we know he also wanted to die at Sasuke's hand, to restore the honor of the Uchiha clan. But I mean cmon think what he does for a living. He could've died on any random mission. Obviously that wasn't the plan, but its not like he could ensure it didn't happen. Hiruzen is his backup plan, and after he died Itachi went back to the village, found out Sasuke has other comrades looking out for him, and decided to leave it to team 7. Horrible decision. But its Itachi. So. Yknow. Par for the course.

Point being, he had backup plans for protecting Sasuke. And I want to consider if he thought he had an actually good chance at surviving a fight with his entire clan. We saw him and Obito split up, with Itachi taking the clan compound and Obito going after the police station. Itachi rips through the elderly and civilian Uchiha like a champ, light work there. But then its time to face his parents, and he says to himself that Fugaku will be the toughest person to fight, and the worst enemy for him personally. He thinks this because he knows Fugaku also has mangekyo sharingan. Itachi was fully planning for and envisioning a crazy duel to the death with an equally powerful sharingan user.

Course that didn't happen, but it might have. Itachi thought it would. I just wonder, is it easier to do something atrocious if you believe you have a greater than 50% chance of dying immediately afterwards. We have to consider that Itachi is the worlds most suicidal girl....

And then what was happening in Itachi's head when instead of dying, or even just barely surviving, he just. Leaves. No fight happened. I think this kind of recontextualizes Itachi's crying while he killed his parents. With all the other deaths, he just did them, stayed in the zone, no emotions. A fight is a fight. But then when Fugaku didn't give him a fight at all, making Itachi do what he needed to do on purpose and because he wanted to....

Also kind of casts a different light on Itachi v Sasuke. Itachi is sort of in Fugaku's position here- he known Sasuke will come to fight him, and he intends to die and ensure Sasuke lives. I mean obviously he couldn't have just sat there and let Sasuke kill him if he didn't want to make Sasuke suspicious. But idk there might also be something in here about Itachi's plan to die, on his own, in battle, with Sasuke allowed to emerge from the fight victorious, not having to Actually Kill Him On Purpose...
