Some of you may not be aware that June and Mio have Twitter accounts. You can find them at:

June has been posting occasionally and mostly uses it when she’s at con or learning something new.
Mio on the other hand is quickly becoming a hot mess. Her tweets are amusing to say the least.
Studio Ghibli 1985-2013. THANK YOU.
Guest Announcements
Hey guys! Just wanted to update you on some of the fantastic guests that are going to be attending our convention this year! So far, they are as follows:
Pyrahus Cosplay: Lian Yan is a Canadian cosplayer who is a full-time nerd, in or out of costume. She loves theatre, comics, video-games and anime and is always spending her time thinking of some variation of these topics. Lian has been cosplaying since 2008 and she hasn’t looked back once! She loves the way cosplay allows everyone to show off their passion for creativity and fandom as well as the way cosplay connects so many people and creates an amazing network of friends and community.
Auzzie L.: Auzzie L. is a local cosplayer and YouTuber mainly known for his cosplay of Assassin's Creed and League of Legends characters. His satirical videos on pop culture and cosplay have garnered him noticeable attention with in the respective communities. Nowadays, Â most of his efforts are directed towards the community and improving his cosplay craftsmanship.
Neon Crook:Â Neon Crook is an Alberta based costume designer currently studying at the University of Lethbridge for a BFA in Technical Theatre with a focus in Costuming and Makeup. She has been an active member of the cosplay community since 2012 after deciding that it's much more fun to dress up like fictional characters than be financially stable. She has had the pleasure of judging multiple cosplay competitions across Alberta.
RiHA from Rising Heroes Cosplay:Â RiHa has been an active member in the community for five years, organizing well-known events such "Calgary Cosplay Community supports gay pride" and "Calgary Cosplay Prom." A lot of people know her for her Legend of Zelda and DRAMAtical Murder cosplay as well as for being a frequent panelist at Otafest. She travels across Alberta every year for various Cons and Cosplay events. This will be her first year coming to Tsurucon!

Next up for us: Otafest 2015. May really isn’t as far away as you think!Â
WIth Aurora 2014 completed, I took a moment to think about the year. To be honest, it completely out performed all of my expectations. Otafest 2014 and Aurora 2014 were both the biggest events of their history. We had a record number of attendees, guests, artists, vendors, events and panels. We raised the bar so it’s obvious that the team will be working like mad to make sure 2015 is even better.
May Long, University of Calgary. Can’t wait to see you then!
