okay... hearing Folklore drunk is more heartbreaking thank you can imagen...
“It was fascinating [working with Taylor], she is truly one of the most brilliant songwriters. She knows a lot about every person she’s in the room with and genuinely has an interest. She makes you feel like she loves your work and she has known you forever. I just remember she was so young, and the song she came in with, it was just beautiful. I had so much respect for her. I think the song that we did, it was a really special thing. She was writing about something she was going through with a band member at the time, and she was pouring her heart out about it.”
— Colbie Caillat on working with Taylor and writing “Breathe” together (Entertainment Insider, April 28th 2020)
her songwriting in this album…… she’s creating her best work i really gtg
taylor swift said ok here have a song about being in love with a girl when you’re in grade school, a song about being a disco ball, a song about being in love with a girl when you’re in high school, a song about world war 2, a song about being in love with a girl w
folklore is like, , when you're gay and harbouring a lot of trauma from being gay in high school and the people who hurt you and the people you hurt and you haven't properly processed any of these events any of this heartbreak so everything comes back to the girl you loved when you were seven who you wanted to protect and go on adventures with and it comes back to the girl you loved when you were seventeen and you knew everything but you didn't know anything and you hurt her more than you could ever admit but she hurt you more than you admit to yourself and it's all so painful and you carry it with you your whole life
am I the only one or does august sound like a song from girl in red?
“shit” “bitch” “fuck” all on one album.... it’s so beautiful i need a moment

THE WHITE HOUSE RESPONDED TO TAYLOR
“We’re all for the idea of equality, but we’re still not for the Equality Act. The Trump Administration absolutely opposes discrimination of any kind and supports the equal treatment of all; however, the House-passed bill in its current form is filled with poison pills that threaten to undermine parental and conscience rights.”
Having been raised in a conservative family, it’s really important to me to understand both sides of the debate. Here’s a few conservative concerns I found online:
The Equality Act would force employers to pay for sex “reassignment” procedures in their health insurance plans, and require medical professionals to perform them.
The Equality Act would force faith-based adoption agencies to either violate their conviction that every child deserves both a mother and a father or to stop serving children in need altogether.
Personally, I’m a lover, not a fighter, and I agree that equality and this bill are extremely important. I don’t really know exactly how politics work, but compromise is definitely important. If the Trump administration disapproves of the bill in its current form, they need to hurry up and find a form that works for them to protect both LGBTQ+ and religious rights.
I absolutely agree!☝🏿
