Broke: Christopher Nolan's movies are sexless and devoid of erotic symbolism

Woke: Inception is a movie about a man with the first name Dom slipping an exceptionally powerful date rape drug into the drink of the one they call the Sub(ject), kidnapping and blindfolding him multiple times, meeting him at a bar where he's just sent a pretty blonde packing and charming him with a bunch of lies, manhandling him into a public bathroom (where lots of "Why is it so hard" and "Breathe, remember your training" ensues) and then into a hotel room where he lays him down on the bed (explicitly focused the whole time on exploiting his severe daddy issues), taking him to a remote location in the mountains, getting him accidentally temporarily killed by the jealous wife who takes him to their old home in the land of subconscious and fights with Dom for possession over him, begging her husband not to abandon her and their children in the world they built together. Meanwhile the Sub, no longer protected by his Sub-security, is lying bound, bruised, and gagged on the floor, gets shocked with electricity several times, screams, cries, resolves his daddy issues in the climax (catharsis, release, etc., also the visual language of the climax includes stabbing, explosions and a large gush of fluid) due to the idea/seed Dom implanted in him (continual references to "the seed," "implanting," "penetrate," "going deeper," and weird lines about the process of dream-sharing like "I need to know you better than your wife, better than your therapist" and "the stronger the issues, the more powerful the catharsis" and "we open up...we feed him...when we hit the bottom we'll bring out the big guns"), and emerges from the ordeal soaking wet and changed forever on an emotional level.

(Christopher Nolan wrote this movie single-handedly, cast Leonardo DiCaprio as his doppelganger, then traveled in person to give the script to Cillian Murphy and ask him to guess which character was written for him. Nolan also famously got drunk at the wrap party and told Cillian he was the greatest actor of his generation.)

TLDR: Inception may or may not be an elaborate metaphor for how much the director wants to bone Cillian Murphy.
