Is the reason Akechi winks so much in official art because it's a reference to the Crow kanji missing the 'eye'? This trivia appeared in the game as a classroom question, so the devs themselves pointed it out. Funny if true
There's actually a lot of official art obscuring one of his eyes. Not just winking, but the way he's angled or holds objects up to cover it. Hard to unsee once you've noticed it. I feel like the reference to the Crow kanji has to be somewhat intentional

Haru, more than anyone, would understand WHY akira loves akechi despite everything. She still loves her father after all the awful shit he did. Its not something you can control, and she knows this!
And I feel like haru would never stop true love because she was almost forced into an arranged marriage. The freedom to love whoever you want no matter what people may say is haru's THING. so no she wouldn't stop talking to akira over him still loving akechi.
I obvi don't think haru could Forgive akechi per se. But she could Understand him. And she definitely wouldn't hate akira or make him "choose" between her or akechi. SHES A KIND UNDERSTANDING SOUL! SHE LOVES LOVE!

They deserved to have a showtime together. I just ADORE these two as a pair. Goro being protective over Sumire in the starting bits of Maruki's palace is so charming, I love how she's the only one his black mask form goes remotely soft for.
He knew that "Kasumi" was actually Sumire but he didn't say anything outright to her because he knew it was something she had to face on her own.
Call me delusional or a cornplater, but when joker summons metatron he sounds so... alive. His voice is so distinct and almost angry-sounding.
I can't be trusted to post my writing because it's just 200 words of goro akechi going through the horrors of having an ear infection. I think I will write him going to the doctors for a normal check up next. He deserves to live a normal life

The fact that yoshida is one of the only adults in the p5 series to actually give joker room to express himself and be more than what they want/need him to be instantly makes him one of my favourite social links. which is why it's so sad he's never present in fandom works

I genuinely think shumako is a super cute ship and would work well. Makoto and joker are both put under a lot of pressure to be the best and not fail, and I think the two of them helping each other through that would make an interesting relationship dynamic.
UNFORTUNATELY, shuake and shumako shippers have apparently been in a cold war since the fucking game came out. Why do all shuake fics make makoto evil?? Why do all shumako fans hate akechi??? (Don't answer that i know the answer but i love my problematic failboy)
