Taste something new!
There is a huge variety of foods that can't be found on the cornershop of your hometown. Each continent, country, region and place has it's own unique culture and characteristics. And quite often it's expressed through food. Thus local dishes can help you understand people, expand your knowledge and enjoy your trip to its fullest.
Strolling on street-markets for steam buns, fruits, chicken feet or fried insects will fulfill your hunger and enhance your travel experience. You won't only sample unexpected tastes. You will also have a lifetime experience. Choose anything that catch your attention. Test eyes, nose and heart.
Get out of the common place of fast food chains and embrace this unique opportunity. Try more local food next time you hit the road. It can be a challenge. And as any challenge you may be rewarded with more than pleasant tastes. It can be your lifetime traveling experience.
Stay focused! Or how to be safe during vacation?
Unfortunately, there are people who don’t care about other people’s lives and feelings. These kind of humans are only thinking about their gain – mostly, money.
While planning a vacation and during it you can appear to be in such terrible situations, where you don’t really know how to react, what to do and how to improve it or make even a little bit better. You can lose your plane, luggage, be robbed, taken to a place you would never even imagine to appear and so on. There can be companies’ services, police, ambulance and other organizations which can help you, but it’s better to avoid all these uncertainties at all rather than deal with it.
That’s why, in order to caution you, we want to give you some pieces of advice:
Internet
Use only the websites you can trust – check their policy and conditions pages, contact their representatives directly, if needed.
Hotels
Don’t talk about documents and your details of bank cards by phone – How can you be sure that you speak to the right person?
Taxi
Remind taxi drivers about the time when you are about to meet and specify the exact address and look at the route in advance in order not to pay for the longest ride through the worst traffic jams.
Restaurants
Do not let waiters take the menu away from your table in order to have something to connect the number in the bill to the actual prices. Waiters can also be fraud men and try to increase your expenses.
Police
If you are asked to show your documents by a policeman, ask to be taken to the police office than – it’s insane, but there are even these kind of frauds.
Outdoors
Always keep an eye on your bags and pockets – don’t let burglars a chance to distract your attention and leave you without essential documents and things.
Do not buy souvenirs from sellers who are too intrusive – don’t even pay attention to them and they will leave you alone.
Do not let strangers take a picture of you by your cameras and other devices – you’d better choose another tourist for this.
Everywhere
Do not pay in advance – Never!!!
Always have small cash to pay in order to pay without change – you will never prove that you have given a bigger amount of money to a fraudman.
Do not give your credit cards to those who can have a chance to take a picture of it and buy everything they want for your money.
Don’t trust those who say that you can save a lot of money – you won’t!
Children and seniors, policemen and nice helpers – all of them can be burglars and rascals!
Fraudsters are everywhere and they are improving their skills and tricks. So be careful and keep your wits about one! Be scrupulous! Attentive! Smarter than they are!
Making money on people’s disasters is gross! We hope that it’s not only our opinion!
