In August, I did some work experience in London
It was awesome, worked on some Jodie Marsh documentaries, which should be coming out some time in October on TLC.
I love London, but I've always loved it.
Also helped out with some test filming at a hospice in Kent, hopefully it will get commissioned and I can do some paid work with them :)
Sure you are all dying to know my dissertation mark
Got a first (70) one tutor marked it a high first (75) the other marked it a middle 2:1 (65) so thankfuckily it averaged out at 70 which is a first :) wooh!
Showed this for our film society, in memory of our Chair who passed away. She bloody loved 80s teen romance films, and John Cusack.
Miss you more than I thought I would.

oh and apparently, 'I need to get a hobby'.
Was going to apply to the Met Film School in London
but it's at least £19,000 for two years, although I would be in a two year intensive film course. Oh well... applied for an internship at Endemol, and ITV today.
Hopefully have my housemate's sister's husband working on a music video that he needs help with (no idea what I will actually do).
I've finished university, so I can't let myself get stuck in a rut.
Slowly but surely getting the hang of Final Cut Pro
Might try and make some more achieve footage to songs I like.

Looking up Master degrees in film making or similar areas
I do not want to do any more theory based degrees relating to film. I want the most practical course I can find. or maybe the most practical thing I can do, is not spend anymore money and try to do it myself? University does really help you find similar people and you have the equipment at your disposal too, for free. I tried to collaborate with people but they always lost interest, and other people managed to get BBC or ITV work experience so they were sorted.
I used to do some reviews/articles for a music magazine
But I kind of stopped that, however Jeff. T Smith (aka Juffage) just contacted me to ask if I wanted to review his new stuff for the online magazine I used to write for. I'd love to do an interview but I'm not exactly a 'big name' so I'd be worried that it didn't get the views it would deserve (not because of me, because he's super talented). I would encourage you to go to hootingandhowling - google it guys. Great stuff and the Editor, a girl called Charlotte is a fucking ace person, super motivated and I hope she goes far!
This was supposed to be a creative outlet but I need to put this into words
My friend from uni died today, I haven't been told how it happened yet, but I got a call from a friend from uni who had attended an 'urgent meeting'. I have moments when I realise that I'll never see her again, she was one of the few people I had properly made friends with at university, and now she's gone :( I cannot begin to imagine how difficult this must be for her family but it's not sunk 100% for me.
Sigh
So another blog called 'foreign movie posters' reblogged the Videodrome Japanese poster and they've got like 301 notes (and counting). Rubbish, I posted it first where is my recognition(!)
Beginning of my interview with Laurence R. Harvey
Part of a longer interview I conducted at Fab Cafe in Manchester. Held a Star Wars: A New Hope film screening & these guys were loving it, so I grabbed them for an interview!
Nightswim (Collarbones Remix) Was testing out some different editing - mainly attempting to get a border with another video underneath - managed it at the beginning.
Only used one feature film for this (again public domain footage).
