Adrian sighed as he sat down on the couch beside his girlfriend. Sometimes he wondered how lucky he was to have met her and how his life would be if he hadn’t. He laughed at her sarcastic comment. “Hmm, I don’t know. Just make whatever you feel like making, he’s not too picky unless it’s broccoli. Also you’re a great mom, or at least I think you’re amazing.”
Tulsa loved having this relationship, after losing her parents she never really thought this was even possibly. She had dreamed of finding someone like Adrian, but never expected it to happen. He was a kind soul, someone who was more understanding then she ever expected him to be. Adrian accepted her sisters, and made her feel like the mother she always wanted to be. Of course she knew she would never replace Andrew’s mom, but she did everything she could do to make sure he knew he was loved. “I still don’t understand why he doesn’t like broccoli,” she laughed a little bit. “Babe, you’re too kind, I think you’re a pretty fantastic father,” Tulsa chimed in. “I was thinking maybe we should just order pizza tonight and watch a movie or something.”
