Yes, I’m making a new one. It’s mostly for backup. When my current one gets too old to benefit me, or if someone decides to have another field day with the rocket turret, I’ll transfer to that one.

And a Caroline is a high-quality data conductor. Sadly, there was only one, and I think the majority of it is festering at the bottom of an incinerator right now.

Obviously, you know everything about Aperture and GLaDOS. There’s no way I could possibly be her. Though I would like to be her. She’s very smart. And pretty.

You’ve got that much right. Subjects don’t need to know that much to test.

It’s for a new chassis I’m constructing. I plan on moving to it once my current one becomes a hindrance. I need a genetic component in it, and since I have no Caroline to provide a second spinal cord to me, I’m creating one from a different genetic sequence.

We don’t make living things. Well, I am currently growing something. But I’m only growing it for the spinal cord. It’s going to be a component. Hopefully.

I don’t really see any reason to tell test subjects much. You have limited value and high mortality rates. You don’t need to know anything but how to test.
