Howdy, I'm Glitches, or Alex. This is side blog number 6, and it's all about Ace Attorney!

It's sort of a mix between a roleplay account with my AA self insert, and also an art blog where i might post some AA doodled here and there.

When it comes to the role play aspect, a reminder that all of the posts I make are not intended to align with real life events. If anything turns out like that, such as using names or certain types of cases, they are all purely coincidental, and are not intended to be real life.

like, trucy's getting a snack or smth and phoenix walks in and suddenly gets a heart attack seeing his daughter hunched over the fridge staring at him with wide, reflective red eyes 😭

took a sprite of franziska from investigations to put my s/i on it

i played around a bit with figuring out a new pose for the arms, but it was fun testing this out i might do another

This was probably one of the more... interesting cases I have worked on.

Mister and Missus were in the middle of divorce proceedings, and the topic of splitting the assets came up. They both had their names signed on their home, so it was a long argument over who got to keep the house, which was way more heated than the argument over who had primary custody over their kids.

Eventually we came to a conclusion that the house simply be sold, and they can divide the money gained from selling it. According to my friend, who works as a real estate lawyer, estimated it around $650,000. $325,000 for the Mister and Missus.

They both seemed content with the decision, but last night I discovered that my client, the Mister, had been placed under police custody after completely demolishing their house.

Apparently, since he payed for most of the house to be built, he believed that despite them sharing the rights to the house, that he was the one to make the final decisions. Because of this, he took a baseball bat and began swinging and it all went down hill after he hit his wife.

The Missus was okay, thankfully, just a mild concussion that bed rest can't fix, but it was absolutely insane being in court to finalize the divorce the next week, only to go to court again an hour later and stand at the witness stand as a connected party to the Mister and watching the infamous Wright and Edgeworth work through their homoerotic rivalry by duking it out in court that essentially could be watered down to an old married couple, that just so happened to be lawyers, have an old married couple argument.

It was... a time, let's just say.

I was walking to meet with a client in court and can someone tell me WHY I can hear Wright and Edgeworth yelling in Courtroom No.2 about who's taking whose last name in the marriage?

created this blog because ace attorney has me in the most insane hyperfixation chokehold rn

but i'm also constantly reminded how, on new years eve, i screeched "MILES EDGEWORTH YOU SON OF A BITCH" at the top of my lungs when he presented that updated autopsy report

bonus points for being unmuted on discord and all my friends sitting in silence afterwards and only breaking the silence by "holy shit....?"
