Read Room [Monica/Tommy]
When he said it was all new to him too she was able to take a deep relaxing breath and feel less on edge. “Yeah,” she scoffed and shook her head. Monica moved back to sit at the table and chuckled a little. “I’m lucky to live around really good places that deliver,” she tilted her head to the side, “You really don’t ever want me to cook.” Monica paused. “Do you want a drink?” Maybe that could help them box relax a little more.
Although Tommy was traditional and preferred a woman who cooked, he also loved restaurant food just as much. He could cook himself, but he didn’t enjoy it. “I do’t want me to cook either,” he agreed with a sly smile.
“Sure, what you got?” Alcohol was something that always brought Tommy some comfort. He couldn’t turn a drink down unless he was on shift, and that was tomorrow morning’s problem.
