Dave was surprised to say the least to see Alli. Being back in Toronto, he expected to see people that he knew but her of all people was not expected. Anyone else and he would have played it cool and acted like nothing but that wasn’t going to be so easy on account of he still got those butterflies in his stomach when he talked to her. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked down to hide the smile once she complimented him. “Thanks, you do too. I meant different in a good way.” He dropped his hand from his neck and put both in his pockets as he stood up straight waiting for her response. Although he was afraid to hear about how good she was doing without him. How her life continued to work out perfectly after her left. He always knew she’d be fine without him but never wanted to believe it but here was that reality check. “That’s more than something, that’s huge you know? Not everyone makes it.”he nodded. But what she said next caught him guard. That wasn’t what he expected to hear but it was nice to hear. For a moment those words just replayed over and over in his head but he was brought back into reality when she hugged him. He wrapped one arm slightly around her and pulled away just as quickly as she did. “I should’ve but..things happen and plans change. We both know that very well.” He took a deep breath trying to decide how to explain himself. “I’ve been around…not here obviously but around doing my own thing and handling my business. I plan on going to school in California so I’m excited for that. What about you, are you finally going to MIT?”

Alli had spent the afternoon shopping around for her new dorm room. University was still months away, yet she was far too ecstatic about it to hold back now. She had the entire summer to truly cherish Toronto and all it was worth before heading off, but she gave herself this one day to herself before spending every moment with her friends, her boyfriend, and her family. Stopping by the Dot before heading home, she assumed she would run into a few of her friends and chat for a while. But who she actually saw there was the very last person she expected to see – ever again. All she saw was his back side, but she couldn’t mistake the posture or the form for anyone. Her heart sunk immediately, and she carefully took a step closer to him. Glancing around the Dot momentarily, she tried to regain her composure. She and Dave didn’t exactly end on the greatest terms. It wasn’t that the two had lost feelings for each other. In fact, she was very much still in love with him even when the two had parted. It simply wasn’t working, and she had spent months afterwards wondering why they couldn’t fix it. Her life was so different now, yet at the same time, not much had changed at all. She had been here, while he had disappeared with no explanation to anyone. She was curious as ever, especially now as she stepped around the side and prepared for what could either be the best or more uncomfortable confrontation to date. “Dave Turner,” she spoke, coming into his line of vision now and smiling back at him. “I never thought I’d see you again.”

After being in the house for most of the day, Dave decided to go out and get some fresh air and a bite to eat down at the Dot. He thought about calling someone up to hang with but after going through his contacts there wasn’t really anyone that he was itching to see nor the other way around. After he left Degrassi, he kept in contact with a few people but when he failed to have any good news to relay back to them he stopped most communication with those people. It was sad that he didn’t have any friends to come back to now that his classmates had graduated together, and even moved on together. It was something that he wished he could have gone through but there was no going back now, all he could do was focus on making sure that he had a great college experience. With that, he left his house and drove down to the Dot noticing few familiar faces walking along the streets and even fewer familiar ones once he got to the Dot. After parking his car he got out and went inside the restaurant and was surprised to see Eli working there. “Wassup man.”he greeted as he walked up to the counter. The two carried on a little convo before Dave finally ordered and paid for his food. He stood to the side and took out his phone while he waited for his order until he heard a familiar voice. He looked up and saw Alli and he was surprised to say the least. “Alli? I-..wow. You look..different.” he said referring to her hair. “I mean…hello, and yeah likewise.” he half smiled putting his phone away. “How have you been?”

Alli: giggled at him and smiled, "Thank God I have you then! I knew you'd catch me when I'm down," she winked playfully. Scuffing again, she laughed, "So I'm not a nice girlfriend? Hmm, I'll remember that!" Shaking her head, she refused, "Nope! It's in, we're watching. Sucks," she smirked, making a face at him. As he spoke back to her, her jaw dropped slightly at his words. It seemed like forever since she heard him say such sweet and charming words to her, in a moment like this. She felt her breath get caught in her throat as she tried to speak, but luckily she didn't have to as he leaned in to kiss her back. With his body turned towards her, she took advantage of it and pulled him closer, leaning her body back slowly with him coming down on top of her. Pulling away from the kiss after a moment, she smiled at him, "And thank you for being the boy I love. The silly, goofy, outrageously foolish boy that I love," She added with a smirk before pulling him down for another kiss as her hands rested on his shoulders.

Dave:Mentally kicked himself for what he said. He knew better that something like that would come back to bite him. “No, it’s not that you’re not a nice girlfriend, there’s just more to you then your niceness.”he said hoping that would help out his cause. “But, I could easily get up and stop it.”he sighed knowing he wasn’t getting up from that spot anytime soon. No matter how bad it was, or how much more she liked it than him, he was willing to sit through it for her. It didn’t matter now because they were already indulged in kiss and before he knew it he was moving closer to her and then finally on top of her. After they pulled away, he looked down at her into her eyes and couldn’t help but smile. Of course her exchange of words had a little to do with it too. “And good-looking. Don’t forget good looking.” He went back in for another kiss as he let his hands trail down her body.

Alli: chuckled back at him and nodded, "Now you're finally getting it!" She smirked. Rubbing her head again, she smiled, "Of course! It's all good! Don't worry, it's not going to fall off or anything," she joked, taking a deep breath to calm herself down. Laughing at him, she playfully threw one of her throw pillows at his back, "Shut up. Just trying to be a nice girlfriend.. I like to do that every once in a while." At the mention of the movie, she raised her eyebrow, "Tatum as in.. Channing Tatum? Oh, then it might as well be a chick flick! I'm sure I'll enjoy it." She winked back at him as soon as he turned to her, biting her lip as she waited for him to join her. She moved over into his arm, making herself comfortable as the movie started. With her eyes focused on the screen, she tried to keep them as wide open as possible, but the semi-dark room added to the screen made her eyes heavy, and she knew she couldn't focus on it for long without falling asleep. She sat up slightly, turning to Dave and smiling, "Did I mention how much I miss you? And this? And everything?" She smiled, looking down into his lap before finding his hand and looking back at him. "Thank you for coming over," she said as she leaned in to give him a long kiss.

Dave:Looked at her half cock-eyed. “You sure? It looks like it might fall off any minute now. That’s ok, I’ll catch it if it does.”he laughed. The image of her dancing replayed over in his head as he still smiled to himself. As a pillow hit him in the back, he grabbed it and tossed it back lightly. “You sure about that? Nice girlfriends don’t throw things. Just stick to being..whatever kind you are now.” He said before he turned back to the television to make sure everything was setting up. He was expecting this much excitement from her for the movie, he was kind of second guesses about it now. “Uh..maybe I should change this then. This wasn’t the reaction I was hoping for.” He sat back with her with his arm around her back side, as the movie began. He knew what movies usually meant for them, but since she was actually into this movie he sure it was going to take longer than usual for things to get started. “Just a little bit.”he smiled back down at her. He was just happy to be spending some time with his girl, he didn’t care what they did. “Its my pleasure, thank you for..for just being you. The girl I love.” He said before he leaned in and kissed her back, he turned his body more towards hers.

Alli: laughed, happy there was no tension on the subject area. Usually Dave got so irritated with Alli for being so busy, though she couldn't help it.. much. "I have a feeling I do know. I think I'm feeling the same way." She smiled toward him, her face almost turning a shade of pink at him. It was amazing how after all this time, the boy still gave her the silly butterflies in her stomach, and it wasn't just once in a while, but every time they were together. After her tiny tumble, she looked up at him, trying not to show her embarrassment and laugh it off instead, though by now she had barely remembered what exactly even happened. "I am? Is it because I'm so good..?" She teased back with a bright smile, rubbing her head a bit more as the room finally stopped spinning, for the most part. Looking back at him, she nodded, "Oh, uh, yeah! We can, if you want." She smiled, knowing what movies usually led to. She didn't mind, she missed him desperately. She grabbed his hand and lead him up the stairs, walking somewhat slowly in order to make it up the stairs successfully. An inaudible yawn escaped her mouth as they made it to her room, but she quickly shook it off by brushing her hair out of her face and turning to him, "Your turn to pick the movie, I think?" She smiled, laying down on her bed. But as soon as she laid down, she knew it wasn't a good idea, so she quickly perked back up, watching Dave as he found a movie. "It doesn't even have to be a sappy chick flick either. That's how much I love you," she giggled.

Dave:Really did miss her and the time they spent together more than his words could explain, as far as he knew. “Oh, yeah. Silly me forgot, you know everything.”he responded in a joking manner. That’s what he enjoyed about them the most, for the most part, he could joke around and have a good laugh without pressing too many of her buttons. “Um..yea, something like that. Its like nothing I’ve ever seen before.”he nodded. “Is your head all good there? Have to be careful, you’re going to need that.” He knew that her attempting to dance wouldn’t end well and he shouldn’t have even challenged her to do it in the first place. But it was slightly worth the laugh. As soon as he felt her hand on his, he got up and followed her upstairs, to his usual second destination, her bedroom. He always liked watching movies with her, he surely never regretted that. He walked into the room and took a seat at the foot of the bed as he gave him the option to pick the movie. “What?” he said as he was appalled. “I get to pick the movie, all that dancing must have really screwed with your head.”he laughed as he took the remote and looked for something good to watch. He was in the mood for a scary movie, but he actually would be interested in that so he decided to go with something else. “Its not a chick flick but you might actually like this one. 21 Jumpstreet, with that Tatum guy.” He tossed the remote to the side and then sat back on the bed, leaving a space for her to sit back with him.

Alli: started to feel a bit of relief knowing that she was finally here in this moment, with Dave and a whole summer ahead. The previous year, they had planned for a summer of romance, but that was quickly ruined by a science trip and fling for Dave. This summer she wanted to make the most of it, and she was willing to place her dreams and her future on the back burner if it meant spending time with her boyfriend. Scuffing at him, she smiled, "Well if you weren't so busy..." She trailed off, looking up at him and smirking to show him she was teasing. "Yeah, I missed it. A lot. I missed you.. a lot a lot." She smiled as she took a wing and began to eat it, only to giggle half way through, "Oh, so now you want to see me dance?" She raised her eyebrow at him, standing back up and going up to him. Leaning in to kiss him, she stopped before she reached his lips and moved back, beginning to dance foolishly for a moment. As she spun around the room, she felt herself getting slightly dizzy, the room blurring in front of her, and before long, she tripped on her own foot. Stumbling against Dave's chest, she caught herself and looked up at him with a blush. Holding her head, she let out a nervous laugh, "Oh, uh.. whoops? Maybe you were right?"

Dave:nearly choked on his own spit at her comment. “I know, I’m so busy, I just can’t help it.”he teased some more. It might have been the other way around but he knew now wasn’t the time for him to express his true feelings on that. “I missed you too, more than you’ll ever know.” His faced showed a pleased expression. He had really experienced an empty feeling for as long as they didn’t hang out, and it wasn’t a feeling he enjoyed at all. It really worried him that the feeling would grow as she went on with her studies and such. “I did, but for both of our sakes, you don’t have to.” He said trying to stop her in a positive manner. Just as he thought it was working, he too leaned in to kiss her only for her to pull away before he got one. “What gives?” he laughed. As she began to dance, he covered his eyes with his hands, slightly peeking through them as he knew this wasn’t going to be good. And he was right. Before he knew it, she had tripped and stumbled to his chest. All he could do was shake his head and chuckle under his breath. “Bravo, bravo. You must do more for me later. You’re very entertaining. And yes I was right. But that was fun to watch.”he laughed. “Speaking of watch, are we watching a movie?”

Alli: was incredibly happy to spend time with Dave. Though it had seemed like weeks since they had a chance to hang out, things between them had seemed pretty solid. They hadn't gotten into their silly little fights recently, and every time they did see each other, they were both happy. Alli felt terrible for being so busy with school, but she knew Dave supported her in what she needed to do. The last thing she needed right now was something bad to happen to their relationship, which was why she was making an effort to make things perfect between them today. She giggled back at him as he greeted her, watching him with butterflies as he walked through her house. Thinking of how happy she was to finally being with him again, she didn't hear his question at first. Rolling her eyes, she cross her arms over her chest, "Have you forgotten who you're dating? Of course I have food." She teased, nodding to the chicken wings that were set out on the counter with a few sodas, "The Bhandurner special?" She smiled, grabbing a plate for herself and taking a seat.

Dave: Was looking forward to a relaxing, fun night with Alli, something they hadn’t had in a while. It might have actually been good for them to have some time without each other for a while considering how easily things could tense up between the two. As he walked through the house, things were starting to feel normal to him again. “Yea, I kind of have. But can you blame me, its been ages since we’ve hung out like this.”he teased. Although he knew it was true, with school and finals and her lab work, their schedules were hectic and they just couldn’t spare a minute for each other. But as he peered over at the wings, he was starting to forget about all that and just focus on the now. “You know it. Don’t forget the dance too. Or else it won’t taste right.”he smiled at her as he waited for it to commence. That brought back some old memories for him. Back when he couldn’t even get the time of day from her. Lucky enough for him, it didn’t stay like that. “On second thought, maybe no dance. Could end badly.”

Alli: The last few weeks of school before summer vacation started was nothing but intense and busy for Alli. With her lab research, the extra tutoring, and all of the finals she had to study for, she barely had time to see Dave, or even sleep for that matter. The energy pills she used helped her for only so long, but now that she had just ran out and was starting her summer vacation, she was trying to adjust. Sleeping was even harder now without the pills after going so long with barely no sleep. She found it more difficult to fall asleep at night even when she did have time. Wanting to be better about spending time with her boyfriend, she dedicated the whole day to him, clearing off her tutoring sessions and setting back her research time for the next day. When he arrived, she happily made her way to the door to open it and find the boy she hadn't seen for so long, "Hey stranger. Do I know you?" She smirked, bringing him in for a quick kiss. By being with Dave, she hoped to put everything else she was worried about on the back burner for the day, and hopefully she would make it through regardless of her recent night filled with lack of sleep.

Dave: It was finally summer break, just what Dave had been waiting for just about all year since school started. This time around, he planned on making sure this summer was better than last years. He surely did not want a repeat of all the preceding events. Granting, they did bring him to where he was today, it wasn’t worth a redo. And what a great way to kick off this summer than by spending some quality time with Alli. Dave wasted no time getting ready, and once he was satisfied with his look he started his trip to Alli’s house. On the way there, he reminisced all the other times he had driven to her house in similar times like these. Some ended better than others, while some ended in ways he would never want to see happen again. Conversely, he knew things were pretty good between them right now and the odds of a bad time were slim. They hadn’t hung out a lot with finals and everything going on but they were on a high part of their rollercoaster like relationship. After arriving at her house, he parked and went up to the door. A wide grin came across his face, as she greeted him. “It’s possible.” He quickly kissed her back before walking inside. He went to his usual first destination which was the kitchen and looked around. “Got any food?”
