Sunna was greeted with balloons, cat themed decorations, and her fellow Angels standing beside a cake that had the three of them drawn together with icing.

“Surprise!” Both Nangong and Aria call out once Sunna arrived.

“Was starting to wonder if you had forgotten your own birthday for a little bit.” Nangong jokes, lightly nudging her friend with her elbow. “Happy birthday. For real.”

“Sunna, you are just about one of the most passionate people I have ever met, and I’m always so proud of the stuff you come up with, lyrically or otherwise.” Aria would take Sunna by the hands, the construct smiling at her with sincerity. “I’m so happy I get to be your friend.”

[Sunna looks nervous ordering that, she's thinking of changing her mind, but she doesn't.]

"Yeah... That's... That's what I want."

"That's pretty vague, Sunna. There are tons of things with 'adorable' designs, what if I end up getting you the wrong one? Then you'd have to go alllll the way back down to Sixth Street to get what you wanted, and you'll have to stay in line for like, 20 minutes!"

Nangong snickered at her own mildly inconvenient scenario she cooked up as an example.

"Soooo, let's get a tad more specific so we don't gotta make two trips. Or you can tag along, not like I mind or care."

[Sunna takes a small breath and then continues talking calmly.]

You know this candy that comes in bags that has like... Cute cats, dogs and rabbits...? I though of you buying those and I... I thought you knew about them... Because I eat a lot of them and... You know...

"Ohhhh, the lil kiddy candy! Don't worry, I'll pick some up... Make sure you brush your teeth after you eat them though, don't want our baby Sunna getting cavities! They might affect your singing voice...maybe."

Nangong teases her fellow angel over her choice in 'childish' snacks with a grin.

[I stand up from the couch I'm sitting on and start yelling like a little kid.]

First of all, I-I'm not a baby! And second... I-I'm not gonna get cavities! It's just some candy! A-and it definitely won't affect my singing voice!

[I sit down again and calm down, a little annoyed by the comment but still knowing it's a joke.]

Just... Buy it, please...

Nangong smirked, satisfied with the reaction that jab got out of Sunna.

"Oh alright, I'll buy you some sweets. Just eat in moderation this time, okay? We don't want you getting a tummy ache and having to miss practice again."

Sunna's fellow angel disappears from the doorframe, before popping her head back to add onto herself.

"By the way, you sleep last night?"

Yes, I did, why? Do I look tired? I did stood up a little bit more...

[I lean forward a little scared]

Do I have bags under the eyes?! Dark circles?! Do I?!

Sighhhh.

“No, you don’t, Sunna. I just know you well enough to figure out when you’re pushing yourself too hard.”

Nangong now stood in front of her friend, squinting at her. “If I buy you that candy, you have to promise me you’ll actually sleep tonight. M’kay? Don’t want a sleepy Sunna tripping over herself during practice! Plus, getting no sleep is bad for you.”

She hated having to get on Sunna’s case like this. Mostly because she does really care about the poor girl, but also because it makes her feel like a nagging mom.

"O-okay… I won't push myself that much…"

[Sunna looks down to the floor.]

"I just love how our work sounds like and I stand minutes that turn into hours listening to it… and when I look at the window it's nighttime already…"

“Hey, I love the way our stuff sounds too! But you see me working my butt off to my own detriment? Nope! You need a good work/fun balance, ok? Besides, I like energetic Sunna more than sleepy Sunna!”

Nangong pats Sunna on the head, a tiny, real smile on her face.

“Now, I’m gonna run and grab your lil snacks, but if you don’t sleep well tonight, you’ll be paying for your own candy forever~!”

“Happy birthday, Aria!”

“Yeah, happy birthday, you dork. We didn’t really have a ton of money to spare after we blew it on the last album, but I have my ways.”

“Hey! I was the one who got her the tickets, you meanie!”

Nangong snickers at Sunna as she places three ever so elusive tickets to an Astra Yao show into Aria’s hands.

“Ta-da~”

Aria is silent for a second, before clutching the tickets close to her heart. Or, where a heart would be.

“You guys…gosh, this is just about the sweetest thing I’ve been given! If I could, you’d be seeing tears just pouring down my face…”

“Awh, I knew you would say something cheesy. Get over here.”

The construct is pulled into a hug with the other two parts of the trio, smothered with adoration from her closest companions as they all let our various laughs and giggles.

"'eyes so bright...', 'train, boat, car...', oh, Sunna, after all this time, you still have suuuuch a way with words." Nangong holds the paper high above her head, snickering at her friend's attempts at hiding her lyrical misfires from her.

"Suuuunaaaa, c'mon, you gotta take pride in your work! This is the typa stuff Aria would totally eat right up~! Even if you're totally right about it being super cheesy~"

Sunna jumped fruitlessly trying to get a hold of the embarrassing paper. She huffed and aimed for Nangong's weakness, the exposed stomach of her uniform, with tickling fingers.

Between tickling her, she paused to think about what she said and how Aria would still love it. "M-Maybe... Maybe I won't throw it away just yet. I should go collect sound samples to get more ideas. I don't even have a tune for it yet!" She puffed a cheek with arms crossed and pouted some before adding, "Want to come with?"

Her weakness exploited, Nangong found herself in a giggle fit at the sneak attack, dropping the paper to use both her hands to fight off her fellow Angel's hands.

Pushing Sunna back a little, a few more small giggles get out of Nangong's system before she catches her breath, picking up the papers holding the oh-so-cheesy lyrics and shoving it into Sunna's hands. "Y-yeah- pft- sure, whatever I don't have anything better to do anyway."

"Nangong!" Sunna exclaimed, nearly falling out of her chair as the other idol came in. She managed to catch herself and went wide eyes when Nangong opened her paper full of attempted lyrics.

"Ahhh!! Don't read those!" She rushed towards her, attempting to grab the paper out of her hands. "It's bad! So bad! And cheesy!" she cried out.
