the hands—one gloved, one naked—brings to light the recent chapters about yuder making peace with the fact that current!kishiar and mr white gloves on his dreams are one and the same person. that the past!kishiar younger yuder was so confused and hurt about is just the same person—and that he was loved so much. the difference lies on the situation they had, back then; yet the love kishiar held for yuder is one and the same.

similarly, kishiar knows that both yudrain and yuder loved him back, altho yudrain never realized it before. not that kishiar would ever blame him—such love was overshadowed by the chaos and hurt, and yudrain was struggling with their situation, back then.

and yes katchian’s order and kishiar’s decision to sever everything uggHHHH CAN SOMEONE JUST OFF KATCHIAN

and now that the cover has changed + posting sched on ridi, it seems we’re quite near the end of the series. there’s still yet a Lot to unpack—the political climate in the orr empire after kishi is now (re)appointed as an imperial heir, the whole southern merchants thing, kiolle having the best worst(?) moments of his life, and the whole cracks situation—but i trust kuyu-nim.
