loneliest summer
there were better times last year. there’s something about this past month that has been piercing my gut. maybe my trip will change it, but so far, I’m straight up sad. I’ve tried to set things up for myself, but flakes are flakes. I’m starting to not enjoy things I used to like. I’m worried that the things that still have the last ounce my attention are just a waste of time. I thought I wanted to be away from school, but it ends up being the thing i’d rather be at right now.
the bad thoughts linger greater through each day and that scares the hell out of me.

RAF SIMONS AESTHETIC CHANGE
After a sabbatical In March 2000. Raf got a new deal with Belgian manufacturer, Gysemans Clothing Industry, the company was started back up again for Fall-Winter During this time, Simons’ international prominence grew with the collection for Spring-Summer 2002 “Woe Onto Those Who Spit On The Fear Generation…The Wind Will Blow It Back” becoming one of his most influential due to its ‘layered, hooded, sinister image of the urban guerrilla’.
Raf Simons is famous for capturing the mood and feeling of the moment. His collection featured wrapped faces, layering and reflected global upheaval, protests and violence. Picture above capturing his fearful spring ’02 collection, eerily shown just months before the Sept. 11 attacks.
For me his clothes then, and now represent something about the world we live in.
