I have to reblog this again cus it’s crazy how many ppl I’ve let come into my life were I felt I had to apply this. Friends & family. It’s upsetting to realize how ppl do not understand why this shit is so painful mentally & literally tears at you every day, it’s draining. Ppl do not care at all, it’s so fucking frustrating. This is why I have my ONE friend(bf) who understands that being in my life is a privilege not a right & understands that when you’re in my life you are thought of all the time & taken care of. Only give your time to ppl who realize this because it will drive you crazy if you try to give your true self to ppl who just take or ppl who don’t understand this concept. You shouldn’t have to feel like you’re too good to someone you allow into your life, you shouldn’t hold back & feel like they don’t deserve your time if that’s the case they shouldn’t be that close to you. Friendship should be easy, it should be fun, you shouldn’t strategically have to pick & choose your actions around this person when you know your intentions are pure. It’s nothing wrong with loving the ppl you allow into your life, THATS HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO BE !
