Arya couldn’t help but stare at the poster herself, it was completely ridiculous to think that birds weren’t real. There were shifters who could turn into birds weren’t there? She was a bat so she was probably the closest she could come if not.

“It’s gotta be a prank,” Arya said shaking her head at the ridiculousness of it all as she readjusted the bag on her shoulder as the other tore it down.

“How could anyone, in a school with shifters and who knows what else, how can birds not be real?” She asked shaking her head with a long sigh “God i’m going to need an asprin after reading that.” 

sometimes she swore that peoples literal stupidity would give her headaches though she wasn’t sure that was actually possible, what was worse was up ahead she spotted another of the ludicrous posters.

“If you’re gonna tear that one down, you might have your work cut out for you.” Arya pointed out as she gestured towards the next poster she approached it and ripped the poster off the pole flipping it over in her hands before tearing it in half.  

“I hope it is,” Sebastian replied. He didn’t really get pranks, even though his people were infamous for them. Thus, he had been the butt of many pranks but only pulled a few in his childhood with friends. If he wanted to make someone look stupid, all he had to do was be smarter than them; there was no need to be sneaky about it.  “Exactly. “ He turned to address her. At least someone here had some sense. “And the technology is so new. My parents met long before humans figured out flight at all.” They were no longer together, but his point was still true. Sebastian let out a long, dramatic sigh at the sight of the other posters. “You got a long road ahead of you, Sisyphus,” he muttered to himself. These people would probably just put more posters up. It wasn’t his job to stop the spread of stupidity, but Sebastian felt obligated to at least remove the posters that had his father’s face on them.

Arya could see the exasperated expression on the others face as she glanced at the posters and sighed adjusting her bag on her shoulders more properly

“Come on, I’ll help you out.” Arya said with a small smile as she went to the next poster she could see and tore it down “Maybe we can tear them up and give them to an art student to use for paper mache,” she said half joking though it would be nice to find a way to recycle the posters instead of just tossing them all. Just seemed like a waste to her. she tore down another and glanced over at him

“So, do you always go by Sisyphus or do you have a nickname?” Arya asked him raising a brow she had heard the way he had muttered to himself and chose not to acknowledge it them but seeing as they were working together now, names were usually a good thing. Seemed like an unusual name to her but with a name like Arya who was she to judge? she sounded like some Medieval witch or something.

Arya knew in college and particularly a college like Katmere, strange conversations were going to be had when class was waiting to start, she knew that there was always the chance of overhearing something weird and so hearing the peculiar group conversation escalate as weirdly as it did kind of startled her and she finally felt she had to throw her own thoughts in as she turned to the others in the class

“Okay, how did we get from college emails to killing Jeff Bezos?” Arya asked raising an eyebrow and looking around to the other students 

“You have to know how weird this sounds right?” she added afterwards still not seeing how they possibly got from point A to point XYZ.

Sometimes Nicky felt like there wasn’t that much distance between themself and the undergrad students, and then there were times when it felt like there were more than just a few years separating them. Today was one of the days where it felt like there was an ocean between them. Thankfully they were just assisting with a demonstration in today’s lecture, and weren’t in a position of authority.

“I wish I could tell you.” Nicky said, turning to the student that they were sitting next to. It felt like they’d taken two second to check their phone and suddenly the conversation around them was on a different planet. “Were you paying any attention? Because I wasn’t and I am very confused.”

“Not particularly, sadly I was distracted by the shitstorm brewing.” Arya said gesturing in a way that indicated the peculiar conversation that was going on around them she looked down at her notes

“I got down to over analyzing blue curtains and got distracted.” she said shrugging a little bit it always baffled her honestly how things could get derailed so fast.

“You don’t have anything better to do?” Arya asked glancing up at the person she felt was staring at her she was trying to keep up on her work on some research for her crime blog, throwback to cold cases and all that so looking into some of the information the library had on true crime stories was always a great place to start. Having someone stare at her while she was doing research for her anonymous blog though? 

Ya that just made her paranoid and she kind of felt like she had a right to be paranoid, Arya didn’t know what to think of this situation just yet though. 

“Or is there something I can help you with to end this interaction?”

       𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐁𝐄 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐃𝐔𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐗 𝐎𝐅 the dragon that lives within him, and his already restless nature, but Vasil has a hard time staying still. The male always needs ways to channel that ENERGY, preferably through whatever physical activities he can engage in—Usually exercising and training ( and sex ). Unsurprisingly, because of this, he can often be found in the gym, lifting around three hundred pounds in weights or trying to break his own records of over on the lever. It’s also a good place to socialize and meet other fellow NON-HUMANS like him. This time around, the platinum haired youth decides to call it a day on exercising only because HUNGER is stronger at the moment.

Releasing a long breath, he drops from the lever and turns to the nearby bench, picking up the towel there to wipe off the sheen of sweat on his face. It was not difficult to discern the weight of various gazes on him but one in particular seems to be more pointedly PRESSING. Throwing the towel over his shoulder, Vasil turns in the direction of said gaze’s owner with an arched brow and an almost PROVOCATIVE smile; the same playfulness being reflected in the gleam of his violet eyes. ❝ Like what you see? ❞

with the provocative wink, Arya realized that she was spacing out staring and snapped out of it for a moment. Her cheeks lit up bright red and she offered a small smile hearing what he said she shook her head before realizing how it might of looked and wanting to cover her ass for how awkward this now was.

“Sorry about that, sometimes I don’t realize I’m staring until someone snaps me out of it.” She apologized as she turned back to her bag and dug through until she found her work-out book. Arya used it to keep track of how effective her workouts were, what she’d eaten that day and how it effected her overall performance and heart rate. Arya couldn’t help but glance back up at the other though curious now

“Weird question if you don’t mind, how many reps did you just finish?” Arya asked him as she flipped the workout book closed and put it back in her backpack 

“Sorry, I major in exercise science so I tend to get a little curious when someone makes a scene at the gym.”

Sebastian stared at the poster tacked to the tree in confusion. BIRDS AREN’T REAL: Wake Up, Katmere! It proudly proclaimed. Below was a picture of a pigeon labeled GOVERNMENT SURVEILLANCE DRONE. This really was a stretch as far as conspiracy theories went. How could anyone, especially paranormals, fall for such a baseless idea? They’ve lived to see governments rise and fall, and seen birds way before any electronics existed. The worst part of the poster, though, was probably the sharpied in -but Mothman is! next to a sticker of his dad’s head photoshopped onto a shadowy mothman figure. He rolled his eyes and moved to remove the poster, declaring, “This is fucking ridiculous.”
