anyway trans women please learn from the mistake i make literally every single month without fail: if you get these random bouts of feeling really fucking hopeless about everything and they're basically monthly it might be the fact that you are on your period at the moment and you've missed it because you don't bleed and (if you're anything like me) the physical symptoms start AFTER the emotional ones by like three or four days

With that, while depression, agitation, and other negative mood symptoms are considered normal under PMS because of shifts in hormones, if you notice that you're consistently getting suicidal and/or EXTREMELY depressed then please please please look into PMDD. It's currently estimated that about 5% of the population has PMDD and is much more debilitating than regular PMS symptoms.

Because of issues getting my Testosterone refilled I started my period again recently and even while the physical symptoms are currently mild compared to when I regularly menstruated I immediately noticed that my PMDD symptoms swung back into full action.

For some people a change in lifestyle is enough to relieve symptoms, but SSRIs are usually needed.
