Some thoughts on palace of devotion

Watched till ep 6 so far

The pace is a bit too fast and everything is rushed. Feels like the production team had to cut out scenes to make the drama shorter and they cramped everything at the start. Though it gets slightly slower (still fast paced) after ep 4, it still seems rushed.

Wish they could have at least intro the characters a bit more instead of just scenes to keep the plot moving forward.

Aside from the pacing, so far so good. The actors are great and the cinematography is pretty. Hopefully it gets better after the 8 eps.

On a side note, the opening theme is interesting and it kinda emulates the painting. Is a pity that it moves too quickly for you to focus on the individual characters/objects on it.
