Survivor- Opening Pandora's Box
Goodbye drama queen! Colton has buckled again and we learn that he faked appendicitis like a coward in his last season. Why did Survivor even let him back on? Oh wait, because he brings the drama. Unfortunately it didn't work at all and out he goes. The sad part of this all is that I actually like Caleb, but now I can't root for him to win because I know that $$ will be benefiting Colton as well. Caleb is either really freaking patient (as it seems now) or he will be revealed to be some kind of crazy to be able to put up with Colton.
And can I say that ooooooh snap, Jeff gets more sassy every season, and I love it. He just let it loose on Colton and made sure he left with no shred of dignity left. Not that he had much anyway.
AND I'd like to commend the medics for getting waist deep into that water to do their job. Not a huge thing to most, but you know what, they are getting down and dirty in there with the contestants whenever they are needed, so bravo.
This season of Survivor sucked me back in because of this whole extra dynamic of competing against your loved ones. Genius. Those match-ups in the immunity challenge were golden. Mamas triumphant over their sprightly daughters, and the golden boy Aras defeating his bully brother Vytas.
And have you ever seen so many shifty eyes in one tribal? Yikes. They keep playing with the wrong strategy for this point in the game. You gotta win challenges, dummies!
So who am I rooting for? Poor Laura who lost Rupert (I wouldn't expect him to leave the game any other way, good man) right off the bat, but really weaved herself into this new tribe of veterans. She even won her match up against Katie. Laura to the end! I am also a fan of Aras, seems like a good guy. I didn't watch his season and I know he won, so he is not too likely to win again, but I hope he goes far!
PS I'm really digging this season's logo:
