ideal sunday reset / routine?
wake up early and do pilates, come home and have a nice breakfast, deep clean my flat, change my bed sheets, do my weekly grocery shop, go for a walk in the park and stop by a bakery for a sweet treat on the way, cook and meal prep for the week ahead, have an everything shower and wash and blow dry my hair, chill in my fluffy dressing gown and have a cup of tea before bed x
I actually have to build the life I want to live.
sense of agency is a skill truly........ it takes work convincing yourself that you have to make moves if you dont want life to spontaneously happen to you instead of having some saying in what happens in it and if you have self destructive tendencies on top of that, it takes trust in yourself to almost blindly believe that it actually matters that you have power over your own life
do you have any pearls of wisdom to spare?
you can start over even if it’s at 3am on a friday
spring is waking up. my heart flutters like a baby bird, anxious to fly. i want to fly, but there are so many fears that weigh on my wings. i will get eaten alive. i will be mocked by my peers. i will lose all my money, what little i have.
but if i don't try, i will always stay here. safe but alone, burdened by a dream not realised.
i start by hopping. maybe tomorrow i will fly.

gorgeous sunny weather, snow is melting, afternoon off, studying at a coffee shop 🌞
“I found out I was in love with you, winter before last,” she said. “I wasn’t going to say anything about it because - well, you know. If you felt anything like that for me, you’d have known I did. But it wasn’t both of us. So there was no good in it. But then, when you told us you’re leaving… At first I thought, all the more reason to say nothing. But then I thought, that wouldn’t be fair. To me, partly. Love has a right to be spoken. And you have a right to know that somebody loves you. That somebody has loved you, could love you. We all need to know that. Maybe it’s what we need most.”
- A Fisherman of the inland sea, Ursula K. Leguin

“The useless days will add up to something. The shitty waitressing jobs. The hours writing in your journal. The long meandering walks. The hours reading poetry and story collections and novels and dead people’s diaries and wondering about sex and God and whether you should shave under your arms or not. These things are your becoming.”
— Cheryl Strayed, excerpt from Tiny Beautiful Things
