last class (1/24) i continued working on character design and landed on a style that i like. character design will be finished before next class

12/06 (retrospective)

two weeks prior to the last thesis class of the semester i restarted my senior film. i hit a wall with the story of my initial projects and realized there was no way to reach my goals even for the semester within a timely manner.

now, my thesis film is a 6 minute music video shoutout intonerband. the animatic and character designs are currently in progress. feedback i got from my final in class presentation includes exploring mixed media, expanding the variety of visuals, and working large (at least 2x standard hd).

on tuesday 11/5 i decided on an origin for the maze (The Hedges). this has allowed me to move forward more confidently with my outline and understand the dynamic of the town better. i wrote for my outline yesterday and am continuing to do so in class today. i'm about almost 3/4ths through. when i get stumped with writing i switch to character design and when i get stumped with character design i go back to my outline ヾ( `ー´)シφ__
