WhatsApp seems to be the most highly suggested method for group chat, so I’ve been working on setting that up! I’m personally new to WhatsApp so if anyone is more savvy with that let me know! From what I can tell, a group chat can only be created when the person making it has cell phone numbers in their phone, so if everyone can send me a DM with their number, that would be great! (If I’m incorrect and there is a less invasive method, please let me know!)

Also to anyone who I didn’t accept, you all also seem really great and I wish I could’ve accepted everybody! What this does mean though is that if anyone is still interested in another 20+ net, know that there is enough interest out there to make another!

Hi everyone! My name is Ashling (phanarchy) and I’ve been dying for some phandom friends in my age range. I’ve found a few here and there, but I’ve really needed a network of people to fangirl with who share a similar position in life.

The number of people we accept will be based on demand, but it would be great to find approx. 10-15 people! Selection will not be done based on popularity. We have an open application at the link below. Apps will be open until Nov. 11th to start! Final members will be chosen by Sunday, Nov. 12th! (I’ll tag you in a post and announce how we’ll do a group chat!)

Reblogging to point out some changes. Due to much higher interest than I expected, I’m closing applications tomorrow the 11th (apps seem to have stopped coming in anyway, which is great because I don’t like telling people no. D:  ) I’ll have final members chosen Sunday! Thanks everybody!

Wow, this net has a lot more interest than I ever expected to receive! I already have over 30 applications and it has only been a day! It’s going to be really difficult for me to whittle that down to like 15 final members, so I’m considering closing applications early! Is that cheap? Unfair to people who said they may apply later? What are your thoughts?
