1) Can you tell me more about the Kamado situation? I love the Kamado siblings.
2)Is Genya part of the resistance? How did he end up with them? Is it because of Sanemi?
3) Why doesn't Giyuu use his lightsaber?
4) How do Muichiro and Yuichiro end up with the resistance? How does Yuichiro react when Mui gets closer to Genya and the others?
ohh how i want to make art for these! but i'm too eager to answer so i'll have to do it some other time when i'm not about to go to bed 🥹
1. tanjiro, alongside zenitsu and inosuke, were a group doing odd jobs around their city to try to make ends meet as they were all without families. nezuko is battling illness, so tanjiro is doing what he can to take care of her health. the three of them get caught up in trouble during a smuggling job and are separated, which is where tanjiro is saved by jedi urokodaki before he can be killed. the two of them return to grab nezuko and flee somewhere safe, where urokodaki trains force-sensitive tanjiro to become a jedi. after learning the empire was behind the deaths of his family, tanjiro becomes motivated to join the rebellion, and so urokodaki directs them to a nearby rebel base. there nezuko can be cared for, and tanjiro can join the fight and further his skills
2. originally, genya was a bounty hunter. yuichiro, who was part of the resistance, hired him to rescue muichiro from the empire as the former had lost faith that the resistance would save him. genya eventually does join however after learning that sanemi's an active member, though he's very good at evading genya at any given moment. so yes, it's because of sanemi :]
3. giyuu abandoned his jedi ways after sabito's death. he doesn't use the force nor does he wield his lightsaber, but he carries it around in case there's no other option (and even then he would rather die than take it out). he tried to return it, but was urged to keep it by urokodaki
4. there's like, so much i could say about these boys bc of course i thought about them the most but i'll try to keep it short for now. the tokito twins were snatched up by kokushibo ages ago and were since then raised imperial. yui became separated from mui after a botched eacape attempt, and he joined the resistance in hopes that they might be able to help rescue mui. in yui's eyes, however, they kept delaying this and seemed to view it as a non-issue, which frustrated him and made him lose faith in the cause. he hires genya, long story short he gets mui out, and despite mui's lost memories and broken mind they're reunited and safe with the resistance.
yui, though overprotective, doesn't mind mui forming friendships with the other rebels all that much, and despite being a little judgy of who he spends his time with he doesn't actually discourage him from it. he does dislike mui's collaborations with ubuyashiki however, and urges him to not get too involved as it might put him in danger again
