I wish I was better with words so I could explain how much I love/appreciate/wish i could hug you. The work you put into A - the fandom and B - your authors is amazeballs. Dearest Iris,

When you contacted me about writing an FAA this year, and explained to me what it is truly about, you said, “faa recipients are chosen for their impact on the fandom . . . [the] subject's legacy and popularity, how it has affected you and the fandom, why it's so important, etc. this is essentially a ‘hall of fame’ award , tribute . . .”

Well, that got me thinking . . . I thought, why aren’t we giving one of these to Iris? She, of all people in this fandom, has achieved all of that. So, after an email to beegurl13, and some back and forth conversation, we decided you deserved one, as well. Brandi said you’d hate it, with a cheeky grin, and I said, too bad. LOL

I was told you don’t like the spotlight; well, I can completely relate to that, but I also feel you deserve the recognition brought from the FAA; that you have made “a significant contribution to the fandom . . . left a lasting impact, [are] an inspiration, and serve as a model of high quality achievement.”

Iris, What can I say that I haven't already said a million times before? Or that I don't tell you on a weekly basis? You make me smile. You fix my words. You inspire me. You make me laugh. You make me wanna yell at people. You drive me crazy. You help me. You calm me. You reassure me. You demand the best from me. You never give up on me. You forgive me. You make me crazy some more. You give me your everything. You make me grateful. You make me happy. You swooped in when I didn't even know I was missing something and you saved me in this crazy fandom.
