how many scenes in scar tissue did you have planned out before you wrote them?? bc i always picture the scene where marlene is barely holding it together when i listen to under the bridge now lmao

the whole fic started from the chapter with marlene at the church and it kind of just emanated from there. I had the ‘dani california’ and ‘give it away’ scenes planned quite early on, as well as the whole chapter from Regulus’ perspective. I also knew that Salazar was gonna sing paranoid android from the very beginning.

weirdly enough the ‘under the bridge’ scene was an add on in the moment but i almost didn’t write it because I thought it didn’t fit that well! I’m so glad you liked it <3333

i just wanna say i love scar tissue so much!! i first read it summer of 2023 as it was being uploaded after your break (so maybe around chapter 16??) and ive been in love with it ever since😭 it's genuinely one of my top 5 fics of all time (this sounds so silly but like to the point i named my guitar after emmeline) and i reread it again this year and wow. i didn't appreciate how well you characterised everyone and yeah. thabk you for writing it 😞💞💞
