The Gate, Earth to Infinity ♾️
Source Records, 1992.
Opening track of the eponymous album by Earth to Infinity, alias of German duo David Moufang (Move D @move_d.photos ) and Jonas Grossmann (@jonasgrossmannberlin ) . Prelude to their later collaboration as Deep Space Network, this album is a gem of ambient electronica tinted with mystical storytelling, long deserving a reissue.
Drew McDowall live at Ormside Projects.
Excerpts from an alchemical performance, echoes of a rite of passage with Drew as the ferryman, safely conducting our souls on a rapturous journey through laments and shadow, towards the other side of the veil, in communion with the Sublime. Blissful.

Takashi Kokubo, Jamaica ~ Waves And Light And Earth, 1993
Following a deep dive in meditative yet somber waters with Mr Reed (see previous post), encounter with this cute healing underwater creature. As if found in a magical treasure cave, hidden just behind heavy rocks. Everything suddenly feels brighter and lighter. Note: "When, at the beginning of summer, thunder - electrical energy - comes rushing forth from the earth again, and the first thunderstorm refreshes nature, a prolonged state of tension is resolved. Joy and relief make themselves felt. So too, music has power to ease tension within the heart and to loosen the grip of obscure emotions. The enthusiasm of the heart expresses itself involuntarily in a burst of song, in dance and rhythmic movement of the body. From immemorial times the inspiring effect of the invisible sound that moves all hearts, and draws them together, has mystified mankind. Rulers have made use of this natural taste for music; they elevated and regulated it. Music was looked upon as something serious and holy, designed to purify the feelings of men. It fell to music to glorify the virtues of heroes and thus to construct a bridge to the world of the unseen. "
Mid Afternoon Meditation with Lou Reed, Hudson River Wind Meditations. "The Art of The Straight Line"
Some rich textured soothing geometric patterns compose this beautiful piece written for a Theatre play. Wow

Hiroshi Yoshimura, Four Post Cards, 2004.
Hiroshi Yoshimura, Music for Nine Post Cards, 1982.
I don’t post many things here but Hiroshi Yoshimura has been rotating on a loop in my headphones over the past twelve months and thus deserves a humble second post. For Music for Nine Post Cards, loyal to his quest for capturing the eternal, the noble man got inspired by “images of the movement of clouds, the shade of a tree in summer time, the sound of rain”.
And this feeling of not knowing who you are should evaporate while listening to this, and you will probably end up floating like a cloud.
I would love to know more about his life and work, any interesting link / footages / documents suggestions are welcome.
