1. Her bigotry cannot be separated from her work. It is in the text. People have been pointing it out for years. How can you say "you can't separate jkr from hp" and then proceed to say "but sure, read her books anyway" ?????? What are you talking about?

2. Piracy, thrifting, these may not give her YOUR money, but your continued investment

- implies theyre worth your investment in the first place

- suggests to other people "hey, i should check this out", encouraging other people to spend money on jkrs work

3. and like. People who don't care, who are equally bigoted, theyre currently spending money. They're creating fanworks. Theyre financially investing in this series by a creator who shares their views, they're making their own money off of it, and they can do this easily because there is a fandom space that allows them to do this.
