Lidl use Zayn Malik’s departure
After Zayn Malik announcing that he was leaving the band, fans go to meltdown on social media and not wanting to miss out Lidl decided to join in.
Using the ocasion Lidl showed a sense of humour and send out a promotional message on twitter and facebook for the one direction easter egg in uk stores.

Pay With Love by McDonald's
One of the most spoken about campaigns currently is McDonald's pay with love launched during the Super Bowl this year.
Pay with love started on the 2nd of february and running through to the 14th consitisting in one hundred randomly selected customers from every McDonald’s in America during the 13-day period will be told that their form of payment isn’t dollars and cents, but instead an invitation to "give lovin.'" An act of love can go from taking a simple selfie to dancing in the restaurant or calling a family member to express your love.
McDonalds with this campaign wants to bring back the feeling of love.
This campaigne sounds good on paper but in reality will it backfire.
