When you're busy and need to get dinner on the table quickly, this quick and easy burger recipe is great. It is a family favorite because it is juicy and tasty.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1 egg. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheese. Lettuce, tomato, and condiments for topping.
Instructions: Put the chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix them all together. Form the mix into 4 burger patties. Set a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat to get it hot. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Put a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt in the last minute of cooking. You can grill or toast the hamburger buns until they are lightly browned. Start putting together the burgers by putting a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom bun. Then add the cheese-topped patty and your choice of toppings. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away.
