Bay Leaf Magick
A little of history
Bay leaf, also known as laurel leaf, comes from the Lauraceae family and is indigenous Asia Minor from where it spread to the Mediterranean and other regions with a similar climate.
It’s a tree that has been cultivated for a very long time.
In Mythology:
The laurel plant in ancient Greece was considered a sacred plant to Apollo according to legend, the nymph Daphne was transformed into it to escape the god who chased her and so Apollo himself proclaimed a sacred plant to his cult and a sign of glory to be worn on the head of the winners.

Prayer to Dionysus
Dionysus, God of Self Indulgence, Theatre, Wine, Antheus, Bromios, Dendrites, Hyes!
Dear Prince of Ecstasy, I adore your energy! If you hear my mental prayer, know that I am grateful for the wild spirit that sometimes takes over my body. I thank you for the feeling of drunkenness that graces me even when I haven't touched wine, a giddiness that possesses my heart late at night.
We have not officially spoken yet, so my name may unknown to you. I am Goldie, and wish to uphold you in my actions of wild bravery and dramatics. For when I get the sudden urge to practice cartwheels or scream with joy, I know it is your honorable excellence that would be proud of my antics.
Soon, I hope to contact you properly, but for now all I ask is that you hear my prayer.
Oracle Cards!
Hello all! I finally got around to making my set of Oracle cards based on the Solar/Lunar phases! Here are a couple of the cards:
I got all the materials off shein and honestly they were kind of hard to put together bc I was using old glue but this is what the craft is all about, Witches. Using the materials we have and a little bit of elbow grease to make our practice OURS. I couldn't be happier with my cards, and I can't wait to have a relationship with these ones.
If you'd like a free reading with my cards, just send in an ask! I'll only be doing single pulls though, just as a little exercise for as long as I feel like it :) Also, let me know if any of you have made your own oracle cards! I'd be so down to listen to people talk about their own decks; it's so personal and interesting to see what people pick.
Let us hymn Paean to the great god, Apollo; Immortal, gloriously formed, unshorn, soft-haired, stern-hearted, delighting in arrows, giver of life, joyous and laughing, slayer of giants, sweet-hearted son of Zeus
Son of Leto, pleasant, delighting in the lyre, resplendent, lord of the mysteries, prophet, magnanimous, myriad shaped, Lover of the bow-string, wise, stiller of grief, sober, Lover of community, common to all, taking thought for all
Phoebus, purifier, lover of garlands, cheerer of the spirit, utterer of oracles, hater of lies, golden, golden-complexioned, golden-arrowed, lover of the lyre, delighting in the dance, giver of the soul,
Glittering, wise, father of light, gentle, saviour, swift-footed, swift-voiced, swift of vision, giver of seasons. Let us hymn Paean the great god, Apollo.

Prayer to Hekate
Hekate, Phylloskylax, Brimo, Atala, Goddess with Golden Sandals who Drinks the Blood of Men, Blood Drinker, Triple Goddess, Maiden, Mother, Crone, Queen of Witches.
Lady Hekate, I came to you on my knees with nothing more than garlic and a song. For you to accept me, with what little I had, is more than enough for me to ask. Thank you for your abundant signs, for your clear communication, for your guidance.
I ask nothing of you tonight, except for your protection during this move as I fly through multiple crossroads above the clouds. You, all encompassing Goddess, are the torch bearer of the night, and it is to you that I ask for protection.
Thank you for your wisdom, your love. It is for you I write this, for you I trust in the roads, for you I explore my magical capabilities. Thank you, Lady Hekate.
So mote it Be.
Prayer to Apollo
Apollo, Apollon, Alexicacus, Great Archer with the Silver Bow, Averter of Evil, Protector of Young Boys, God of Prophecy Cattle Light Music.
Thank you for the sunlight that streams through my window each morning. For the guiding light you give to all who ask. Thank you for the music that lifts my spirits and calms my soul. For the gift of prophecy that fuels my divination.
I ask for your gaze upon my younger brother, to protect him during our move. May your bow strike all that may harm him, and may you strike true, Great Archer, Protector of Young Boys. I do all I can to keep him safe, but I need your divine grace to lend me a hand.
For you, I am devoted. For in your image I live, and strive to follow in your footsteps. For you, I am giving what devotional acts I can carry out. Hear my intent, and I hope they are to your liking.
Thank you, Lord Apollo.
So mote it be.
Inspired by @nexxxxi ! An e offering for Apollo :)
