He told me he loves me.. the other day. I actually didn’t hear him the first time.. until he asked did I hear that.. I said no, as we were in the throes of saying goodbye... so he said it again. And I heard it. Faintly.. but I heard it. And I believed him. He may say it rarely, he tends to try and show it more, but when he said it to me that day at the end of that call... my eyes filled with tears and my tummy filled with warmth. Honestly. It was everything to hear that I’m loved.
